An old standard for seafood in this area. Always fresh fish prepared to order. Portions are generous and very tasty. Acoustics are poor so it’s a bit noisy but the decor is great. Make sure you go when you are hungry.

We didn't like it, first and last I get the terrible attention of the Mexican waiter, he doesn't have the kindness to explain, a despotic and humiliating way, for my family, people like that are not recommended to work where they have to deal with many people,

The food is always fresh; you can buy your fish at their market at the front of house. The restaurant can be a tad loud; but the food is outstanding, delicious, fresh and abundant. An amazing menu array, filled with everything from oysters to lobster to crab legs.In the area, Gillian’s is a quiet institution, known to locals and always serves up the freshest and the best.Enjoy!!Parking: Never had a problem in the past

It was the first time I went, and I loved it, good food, good drinks and above all very good service, the waiters and waitresses were very friendly and even the owner is very friendly and is on top of everything. I loved. I even lost my wipe and the owner went to the car and took it away. I even gave Matias a sangria to bring cela hehe. It's really worth it and the place is nice too. I really loved it... ????

My wife and I went so my wife could have a seafood meal for our anniversary. The food/price was GREAT!!!!! The restaurant itself when you walk in and look around screams fast food restaurant. If this place did an upgrade it would really put other places to shameParking: No problem finding a parking spot.Wheelchair accessibility: It was definitely wheelchair accessible

The food was ok, but plentiful. The salad dressing was watered down. I got the shrimp and chicken Parmesan, it was a little bland. I presented a drink, but the waiter forgot to bring it and I didn’t pursue it. Besides that, the wait time wasn’t too bad on a Saturday and the service was acceptable.

Lobster! Lobster! Lobster! This is one of my favorite restaurants in Rockland County and I've been coming here regularly with my family for the past 15 years or so. We even had a birthday party here for my parents a few years ago and they took good care of us. My mum and I are both seafood aficionados and we are crazy about the lobster bucket, which comes with heaps of mussels and clams! I always go for the Lobster for 1, either in the standard white wine garlic broth, or in a marinara fra diavolo, which I can never finish and always have a huge portion left over to take home, enough to make another substantial meal out of the next day, topped over some pasta. Their lobsters come from Maine and when Ipswich clams are in season, they even have fried whole belly clams, which is a rarity in these parts. That and fried oysters - the batter is invariably too thick and heavy-handed for my liking, but the oysters are plump and fresh. All of the seafood dishes I've tried are excellent. They were originally a seafood distributor that decided to opened a restaurant, and there is a small market/deli attached next door, C&M Seafood, where you can buy fresh seafood, house-made crab cakes (very good), and such. The lengthy menu also includes pastas, pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, steak, and surf & turf combos, of Italian, southern, and New England persuasions. I would give an overall rating of 4 but most of the seafood (their specialty) is great, and prices are very reasonable, hence my 5-star rating. Every Tuesday, they have a different take-out special: for $28, you get a large entree tray, with salad and a loaf of fresh baked bread - enough to feed 4-6! My faves are chicken/shrimp parmesan, and chicken marsala with mashed potatoes. Call or check online to see what the weekly special is. I'm also rather fond of the restaurant's kitschy decor which is like the personification of a Jimmy Buffett song. Anyway, I'll always be back for the... Lobster! Lobster! Lobster!
