So, the owner is really nice and he says his mom is cooking up dishes in the back. I've never seen her. I do think the food is reheated. The foods we ordered came back sizzling hot that we burned our tongues eating the cigar appetizer. My tongue was still in pain the next day. Owner def makes good conversation. I do think portions are small for the price paid.
TRY IT - YOU'LL LIKE IT! We brought my mom here for her 89th birthday and were joined by friends as a surprise. We wanted someplace that felt very special, but wasn't insanely expensive or too formal and this fit the bill perfectly. They were wonderful about helping us keep our additional guests a surprise. The food was amazing! What a surprise in Port Chester! The service, especially Ryan, and the authentic ambience, were wonderful. The short rib tangine was fantastic! The fromage cigars.... Wow! We had the best time! Thank you!
