Bartaco: Long Waits and Small Plates
Bartaco does not take reservations, so we made the trip anyway and were told that there would be a 15-20 minute wait. After 40 minutes of standing around outside without receiving a text, it felt like the place completely forgot about us. We had to approach the hostess (a tall blonde in a jean skirt) multiple times to inquire about our table, and she eventually remembered our existence and found a table for us. It felt like we were only seated because we confronted her about the inaccurate wait time she originally gave us, which I see other reviewers here have also mentioned as being deceptive.
Once we finally sat down, our waitress (or should I say glorified busboy) strongly implied that we should use the QR code system to manually place our drink and food orders from our phones, as she was far too busy to serve us the old-fashioned way. If I wanted to order food online, I would have just opted for takeout. I go to a sit-down restaurant to be served by another human being, not to pull out my credit card and enter its digits like I’m shopping for headphones on Amazon.
It was a Friday night, so the place was incredibly crowded (limited parking by the way), and our table was positioned less than a foot away from the next one, making it hard to have a comfortable conversation without eavesdropping on our neighbors. The tables are packed like sardines, reminding me more of bustling restaurants located in Manhattan than the usually more cozy Westchester establishments.
Bartaco margaritas are very tasty, but I wouldn’t order a second round. For the price of one 8-ounce drink here, I could have gone to the Costco next door and purchased a gallon of margarita mix and a handle of Kirkland tequila.
Bartaco has an amazing selection of taco options—duck, fish, pork belly, and steak, among others—but I just wish the portions were bigger. The tacos are delicious, but they are so tiny! When I say "bite size," I mean one bite and the taco is gone. I ordered six for myself, and at roughly $5 a piece, it’s hard to justify the price when you’re still left feeling hungry on your way out.
So yeah, if you have time to spare, money to blow, and a small appetite, then Bartaco is the place for you. But if you’re like me and prefer to visit restaurants that will seat you in a timely fashion and offer fulfilling entrée options, then I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
Parking: Friday night the parking lot was completely full and we had to park a few blocks away.

You will be happy you came here!
I stopped in after a trip to Costco. Sat at the bar and had a great experience. By myself. The vibe is perfect, the food is perfect, and the staff is perfect. Anyone looking to get out by yourself, come try here!
It was also pretty lively for a Saturday afternoon. 10/10 would recommend for anytime of the day.
Donovan and the managers are awesome!!

Ahhhh-may-zing! From the service to the food! Come hungry, leave happy. Love they're secret tacos, especially when they vegetarian options! Mediterranean Rice Bowl... Wow! The flavors pop and you should try it! Nice upbeat music playing in background. Friendly atmosphere! Oh, don't skip dessert. You won't be disappointed no matter what you go with. Today I chose Mint Chocolate Chip Gelato. Also, I like the QR code on the table... It made fire very quick and efficient dining experience! Thank You PC BT!

This place is overrated for no reason because the food is nasty and the bar drinks is blah. The food is not all that and it is tapas portion so be prepared to order a lot if you are hungry. Ordered a large Guc non spicy, received a rancid avocado purée without any ingredients in the avocado and it tasted disgusting. Ordered 3 pork belly tacos, received burned pork belly meat. Order a chicken quesadilla for our child, no taste at all not even salt only tasted the oily cheese. Ribeye taco was super dried and burned. Lobster taco only had 3 tiny tiny bits of lobster. The food and drinks took forever!!! All we had was tacos and appetizers.
