I've heard great things about this place, which prompted me to finally give it a try last night. The service was spectacular, portions were incredible for the price, and my encebollado (fish soup) with cassava was amazing. I had so many questions and my server was sweet and responded to them all. She explained the details around each dish and was overall attentive and personable. This establishment makes you feel at home when you walk in. Expect to be treated like family and trust you are in good hands!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Don Lucho Ecuadorian Restaurant in Port Chester, and I must say, it felt just like home! As an Ecuadorian, I was thrilled to find such authentic cuisine that truly captures the flavors of my homeland. Every dish was delicious and brought back wonderful memories.

The service was excellent—everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. I also appreciated that the music was at a perfect volume, allowing for great conversation without having to shout over the noise.

I can't wait to bring the rest of my family to experience this gem of a restaurant. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy genuine Ecuadorian food!

The food is great, but the customer service isn't, that's the problem when tips are included in the bill and not optional.

I’ve been looking for a go to Ecuadorian food spot for a little while now in Westchester. The one I always go to is located in Queens, NY and I eat there whenever I’m in the area.

I came across Don Lucho; it was a short drive to me. At first impression, restaurant looks refreshing, new, clean and friendly.

Now onto the food. I felt it had a lot of the elements of Ecuadorian taste, though lackluster to be honest and staples on their menu you’d like to see when seeking this cuisine. However; I wasn’t a fan of the disparity of portions within the dishes themselves. For example an order of Pollo Ala Plancha (Grilled Chicken); comes with grilled chicken, rice, beans, and salad. You get two solidly cut pieces of chicken, a mountain of rice, but then little to no beans or salad.

I also ordered like 4 cheese empanadas for the family and myself and we all agreed that it was all dough and no cheese which is disappointing.

Overall, the food is average standard taste and cooked okay, prices were fair and ambience seemed nice; though I didn’t eat in house.

Kid-friendliness: Family Oriented Establishment;
Music isn’t loud
Friendly and attentive staff

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair Accessible; flat street area and entrance.

food is ok, not bad... but wouldn't order it again. It may be better if you eat at the actual restaurant. The best part of the entire meal was the avocado since it was creamy and perfectly ripe, but all they did was slice it. Grill chicken was rubbery and fried fish was overcooked and not enough to fill you.

Super nice waitress. Food is just ok. Wings were dry and chewy (celery was limp). Grilled shrimp tacos were pretty bland. Rice was crispy. We came around 4pm so maybe just not as fresh.

Very disappointing I ordered my food through Uber eats and When I open my food, I felt like I was eating leftovers from another table. Sad and depressing was not worth my money.

The soup had raw chicken meat . Very dirty and unsafe to eat uncooked soup with raw chicken
