Amazing food, innovative menu. Consistently fantastic. Lovely atmosphere, the owner, chef and staff and so personable and kind- they always make us feel at home. And Gramma’s famous cheesecake is a no miss!! Like nothing you’ve had before.

We got to the restaurant, but the owner was so rude to us that we had to get up from our seats and look for another restaurant. Also, there is only 3 parking sports at the back of the restaurant. Not children friendly.

First time here-we have found an Italian spot that is worthy of the cuisine. Fresh, serious, but not pretentious, genuine and friendly but not in your face. We had the pasta Sicilian and a bottle of Brunello. Delicious. We could close our eyes and find ourselves back in Rome. We also had the house made cheese cake, just the right texture and sweetness. We will be back.

This was our first time here and the food was quite good. However, it is not an inexpensive Italian restaurant and personally, I prefer a more professional staff when going to a nice restaurant. The owner was sitting at a table on the phone when we walked in and didn't immediately get off and get up. It was a bit of s poor first impression.

Would certainly recommend eating here. Excellent ambience, flavorful dishes, good service. Great work.

Owner was warm and friendly, met his parents sitting next to us at the bar, and their friend the chef who used to run the kitchen in the Washington DC Italian Embassy. Lovely meal,, nice bottle of Chianti, a friendly family ambiance in an charming, unexpected locale.

For a personalized night out with owner Peter. Great good, and wonderful atmosphere. Peter treats you as his special friends..

Just a spectacular place for dinner, Piccolos has it all; great food, great service, a vibrant setting and a clientele that just seems to be made for each other, you could sit at a table with any of them and have a wonderful evening.

Piccolo is one of our favorite restaurants with the comfort of a neighborhood place and an interesting and varied menu of high quality Italian food. The menus change often and the chef makes imaginative use of fresh ingredients. The desserts are homemade and scrumptious.

It was my first time at this restaurant on Oct 26, 2019 and it will be my last. I was waiting for 3 other friends and I asked if we can sit at he bar, because they have available seats there. They took a while to give me an answer, but finally we sat at the bar.The bar woman was not nice and the owner was very rude. They don't welcome you. The menu is very expensive and we decided not stay because we aren't been treated well at all. I gave tip for my drink and the tip was returned to me, as the owner said : I don't need that. Ive never seen this before. Don't waste your time going there.

This is the best place! A atmosphere is laid back and friendly - food sophisticated and delectable. Menu changes weekly and I have never had something I didn't love. So charming and the staff is amazing!

We dined here many times and loved it. But the recent chef change took awhile to recover from. But they are busier now and we are looking forward to visiting again for dinner. We stopped in last night after a few month absence to find a new streamlined menu and had dessert which was an excellent cheesecake. A real gem in quite a distance to the center. Hard to find, but very good food to a reasonable price. The waiter was very nice and welcomed us friendly. Thje cheesecake was world class, from Europe!

Delicious food and great service

The restaurant is aptly call Picollo as it is very small, you are sitting on top of each other. The food is OK but very pricey for what you get. The noise level is very high when the restaurant is full.
