I ordered two salted loins and they burned it and very salty, very bad kitchen service!

Hadn’t been there for a while and was so looking forward to the food. The chaufa was what I loved. This time it was almost as white as regular rice, dry as heck, and very little flavor. It used to be light brown, fluffy moist rice, with tons of taste. I sadly can not recommend it to my friends as I wished I could. Obviously a different chef than before. So sad.

Came to try the Peruvian style rotisserie chicken, and was very disappointed. The chicken was very dry; seemed like it was reheated. Tables are too close to one another. Would not recommend to anyone looking to try a true Peruvian style rotisserie chicken.

Great tasting Peruvian food. Timeless
Good food, I loved the sautéed loin and the chicken is Super delicious and juicy!!
Terrible customers service, they messed up my order and when I tried to pay to pay the difference they would not take my card as there is a $7 limit but the mistake was on them and would not refund my money back to my card. Won't be coming back here. Luis needs to pay more attention.
Excellent lomos and chicken. Very affordable and large portions.
RE-EDIT Oct. 2022: Closed early in the pandemic for "renovation" BUT the crew seems to have moved to Misti Cafe on the corner. Smaller space and smaller menu, but the same great food----(2018) Awesome food, and tons of it. The fried seafood platter is the best, as is their other seafood dishes, but there is tons of other good stuff here, including the Peruvian chicken. (I'm almost afraid to post a good review, if the place gets overrun by foodies it will be ruined.)
Today I found out the Misti Cafe next door has the same food/owner. Great food & smoothie!

My to go Peruvian spot when i come back to NY. The prices are extremely affordable and their portions very generous.
Very bad service, those who do the delivery do not go up to leave the order where you order it, if you call to deliver it is supposed to be to the door.
Fix that with the person who delivers at home.
I ordered Cau Cau and it was HORRIBLE the cook has no idea what a Cau Cau is.
I love it, does anyone know what the names of the breads they give at the beginning are called?
I visited this restaurant today when I asked the waitress something, she was very rude when giving her answer. This lady is not happy at her job, and then we had food that we did not finish and well, the very intelligent person threw it in the trash without even asking if We wanted it to take away, but at the end of it all she got her tip, so you can see that we are not the same as her.
