Hadn’t been there for a while and was so looking forward to the food. The chaufa was what I loved. This time it was almost as white as regular rice, dry as heck, and very little flavor. It used to be light brown, fluffy moist rice, with tons of taste. I sadly can not recommend it to my friends as I wished I could. Obviously a different chef than before. So sad.
RE-EDIT Oct. 2022: Closed early in the pandemic for "renovation" BUT the crew seems to have moved to Misti Cafe on the corner. Smaller space and smaller menu, but the same great food----(2018) Awesome food, and tons of it. The fried seafood platter is the best, as is their other seafood dishes, but there is tons of other good stuff here, including the Peruvian chicken. (I'm almost afraid to post a good review, if the place gets overrun by foodies it will be ruined.)
Delicious food, at a comfortable, nice price to spend with the family. The only bad thing is the attention of the waiters, I don't know if they were all good, there was only one lady and she treated people ugly and harsh. They should have more waiters who are kind enough to serve.
