If you’re here, you’re a snob.
There are many vegan items but compared to other Whole Foods Market stores, the vegan selection is not that great.
First time there and we loved it!
The employees were very polite and the food was delicious?
This is not a true pizzeria, it's just the pizza hot bar in Whole Foods.
Compared to most Whole Foods this whole foods falls short on vegan dessert options in the bakery section and vegan products. But I love the sushi here especially the Inari. The spicy mayo is vegan. I love getting the vegan kimchi stuffing during thanksgiving time.
We are thankful to have this whole foods nearby. Their bulk bun section helps us save on some waste, we love to see them expand it though! We are thankful for the organic produce, and the vegan options on the salad bar and hot food bar. We would usually get the apple/ pumpkin pies for holidays but are disappointed by the use of palm oil in these products. The health and beauty section has a great offering of vegan, cruelty free and packageless items. The frozen and vegan "meats" section usually has a fair offering. It is frustrating when they discontinue items even though you've been buying them on a consistent basis. We also find that at the check out every cashier does things differently- some give credit for bringing our own produce bags, some take the tare off, some don't do anything. We are thankful to have them nearby, however it's not the best Whole Foods I have ever been to!
I love this store. However, I’m sad that they don’t offer a vegan sandwich option at the deli counter. I know that the Darien location has a smoked tempeh with lettuce, tomato, and vegan mayo. Which would be awesome to have here. Their house made vegan chocolate chip scones and chocolate chips cookies are great. They also have a phenomenal vegan apple pie that can be pre ordered for the holidays when they have the catering menu out. They carry a good selection of vegan probiotics, b12, D3, etc. as well as other whole body products that are vegan and cruelty free. Another one of my fave items is the cafe indigo vegan carrot cake and vegan chocolate cake. My fave vegan ice cream that they have a few flavors of are Van Leewuen’s. They carry a good variety of upton’s and field roast vegan meat alternatives which I think are some of the better brands. Update: they just started making the Vegan Smokey TTLA sandwich which makes my heart happy. I had to go out of my way to white plains to get it for months. The smoothie/juice/coffee bar also now has spirulina to add to shakes and are super accommodating when building your own smoothie. I also noticed that they started making fauxsage pizza. It has field roast vegan chorizo on it for the sausage but uses dairy cheese. I made a special request a couple of times and they accommodated and veganized my pizza for me and let me pick which dairy free cheese I wanted to use.
Actually disappointing. Barely any organic products in the hot bar, coffee was meh and none of the options at the juice bar were organic.
Good to have in town. The selection is better than most whole foods. They even have jackfruit 😳

The Whole Foods in Port Chester is much larger and has a wider variety of vegan items than some of the other Whole Foods in the surrounding area. They always have at least two fresh baked vegan cookies in the case and have a large selection of sweet and sarah products along with other vegan staples. The manager recently added a vegan pizza option in the hot deli area as well as more vegan options to the hot bar next to the salad bar. They also regularly carry inventive vegan sushi rolls that are even better than some of the Japanese restaurants offerings. Other notables is that parking is always free. The lot is large but on weekends it can get busy. This whole foods location also has a very large dining area as well as a juice bar so it's a good place to stop and grab lunch if you are looking for options!
Service and selection
Best grocery store in America!
Whole foods in Brooklyn prices are cheaper for the same exact item compared to rye brook whole foods ,that's not cool at all.
Good cheese-less pizza salad bar. Friendly people
