Celebrated Valentine’s Day with another couple and it was such a great night. We started with ceviche, fried oysters, and duck quesadillas — crispy, savory, and absolutely delicious.

For mains, we shared the seafood paella, steak, and branzino. The paella was rich and loaded with seafood, the steak was cooked perfectly, and the branzino was light and beautifully seasoned. We also enjoyed a bottle of Pinot Noir, which paired wonderfully with everything.

Good food, great wine, and even better company — the perfect Valentine’s celebration.

The jazz was deafening and unbearable. The food was mediocre, particularly inedible was the squid ink paella. I will never recommend this restaurant. I will never come back here. I just wanted a nice quiet evening, to have a nice meal with some friends. The black paella really bordered on inedible. I really can't recommend this restaurant to anybody.

I appreciate the restaurant responding to my review. What was specifically wrong re black paella: It was too salty. Compared to the other paella. And both of them- the rice was one big glob, it was not fluffy, it was solidified. Traditionally with paella you can eat it with fork. Not this meal.

Delicious food and a lovely space. Great service as well—quick and very kind. We will definitely be coming back to try more of the menu and the drinks. The tapas style was perfect.

Amazing food! As well as service! Went for my mom's birthday and they gave us a piece of dulce de leche cheesecake with guava drizzle and delicious homemade cookies n cream ice cream, on the house! It was delicious!! Will be back again!

Sonora is a special restaurant. It's been created with loving care, and everything about it--the food, the drinks, the staff, the ambience--delivers. It's a wonderful place for a special occasion--and also for an intimate dinner for two. My wife and I have been here several time, sometimes with friends and family, and sometimes just the two of us. Each time we leave saying, "Wow, that was just wonderful."

Don't be fooled by the exterior or the neighborhood. Sonora's got beautiful, classy decor, an incredible menu, the best quality food, terrific staff, and an all-around awesome vibe. One of my family's favorite restaurants in Westchester for over 20 years. Seems to just keep getting better.

We always have a great time. Amazing Paella & guacamole. Last night we tried the octopus and lamb shank. Absolutely delicious.

We had diner last night, and this was the third time we have been to Sonora. We were very pleased with the food and would highly recommend you give them a try if you have not already. I had the steak frites and my wife had the salmon. We also very much enjoyed the eggplant meatball appetizer. This is a fun place to have a meal in. The decor is interesting and very colorful. The staff is very friendly and service oriented. Meals came out hot and in a timely fashion, even though the restaurant was very busy. We will be going back and do recommend it to you.

We had such a wonderful experience at Sonora! The staff went above and beyond to make our visit special. We came in with three young children, and every single server was incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming. One especially sweet waitress even held my baby and helped me find a private space to change her since there wasn’t a changing table.

On top of the exceptional service, the food was absolutely excellent. Every dish was flavorful, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. It’s rare to find a place that delivers both top-tier food and genuine hospitality, but Sonora does exactly that.

We will definitely be returning and recommending Sonora to everyone. A truly family-friendly gem with fantastic food!

Tapas were delicious (croquetas, crudo, tartar, flatbread) but paella was very meh. The waiter didn't get me the drink I ordered and the various servers were pushy about ordering extra.
Overall, 3 stars, not bad but plenty of other places I'd rather go to.

The music was a little loud - could have used more breaks so we could hear each other. Drinks super slow to come and dinners came at different times
