My wife and I have lived nearby for 30 years, but never tried TJ‘s, so we came in on a Wednesday night, place was not too busy. Two separate women at the front podium studiously ignored us. Went back-and-forth, took a call, checked the reservation book, but never looked up and acknowledged we existed. We were the only patrons standing there, and both quite tall, hard to miss. After five minutes my wife and I turned around and left. Odd approach to running a business. But I guess they’ve demonstrated that if you really want to make customers go away, you can do it. If you want good Italian in the area, we strongly recommend Pellicci’s in Stamford and Louie’s in Greenwich

Service was better this time compared to last time. Food was really good. We got the octopus special; the octopus was delicious and perfect texture, but it was odd to be over hummus. My salad with chicken cutlet hit the spot. I got it as a main dish, so it was large and very filling.

consistency tasty food but I had a reaction to that whip cream and powered Sprinkle sugar added to my favorite tria mazue plain is best I forgot about it bc I had the same reaction two years ago . The person filling my delivery order was trying to be nice / but that whipped cream and powered addition sugar need be baned from this restraunt I'm 40 year customer and I love grace and her sister in law philameana

I cannot believe that they sent this for me to eat and charged me thirty dollars for it I WILL NEVER EAT FRON HERE AGAIN. you keep the thirty, apparently you need it. I got a good mind to bring it up there for them to eat.
Everything on the menu is delicious. The portions are huge but you're also getting quality. The place is always packed which is a good sign and for good reason. Get the chicken scarpiello you won't be

We showed up without reservations. We're from Alabama and had no clue how they did things. They seated us right away anyway. Everything we ordered was absolutely phenomenal.
Food wasn't cooked properly. It felt like I was chewing on a rubbertire. Appetizers were ok and plentiful.Parking: Parking lot located across street, misleading parking next to it belongs to nearby church.
