This is such a nice little place. They have a good selection of food and you can see the lake from their parking lot. I would highly recommend for anyone in the area.

Parking: Plenty of parking and it is free.

Great roadside takeout restaurant. Outdoor dining pavions with lovely flowers. Friendly staff with a terrific selection of food, beverages and ice cream. Easy in/out.

Dietary restrictions: For gluten free, they gladly server entrees on a bed of lettuce.

Wheelchair accessibility: Outdoor seating pavilions are wheelchair accessible.

Gene’s Michigan stand is truly a gem. The Michigan Sauce they serve is hands down the best I've ever had. It has this incredible ability to always hit the spot and satisfy my cravings. The nostalgia factor is an added bonus for me, as my grandparents used to live near this place, and visiting it as a child holds such fond memories.
