I will never order from here again. If you do, be aware you might wait over an hour longer than you were supposed to and still not get your food. After giving them 40 minutes to make my two chicken gyros (how long should that take really) it appeared they clearly lost my order as at least 8 other people got orders as they came in after me. After waiting another 40 minutes I finally had to ask for a refund. Ridiculous. The young women working the floor tried to help me and were lovely but I will never deal with the owner/manager again. He clearly doesn’t understand customer service because instead of giving me the food he refused and lost a customer who orders every few months.

Gyros have gotten consistently smaller over the years but the price hasn’t . Time to go to a different spot

One of the best places to eat around, the quality/quantity and price is unbeatable and hasn’t changed in YEARS, unlike most restaurants getting more expensive using less inferior quality food, Gilshar is truly a gem. Great place to dine in or take out would recommend 10 stars if could lol ❤️🙌🙏

The food never disappoints, we've been coming here for 27+ years. However, since the pandemic ended, the owner has become nasty and impatient. He's always in a grouchy bad mood. When we spend close to $80.00-$100.00 at a time, we'd expect a smile and some friendliness. There are many other Greek restaurants in the area. Joey at Z-Pita always asks how we are doing with a smile and the food is just as good, if not better!

Wonderful food and great service. My husband has a gluten allergy (celiac) and the staff was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Would recommend to anyone, especially those with similar allergies (just be sure to mention it so they know to accommodate your needs!).

The food is good but it's way overpriced for salad and you dont get yogurt sauce with salads with gyro meat. We spent $85 on 4 salads.... when asked why we didn't have any yogurt sauce they said it's extra.. never heard of this from a Greek restaurant..

There isn't much waiting room if your getting take out and they were busy so i waited outside for my order and they woman was so kind as to bring my order right to me and she was very sweet so great service and the Food was delicious and fresh! a little expensive for a gyro platter but its honestly enough food for two people so its well worth it! I ate the whole thing because it was so good and im a big animal lol

I walked in and looked at the menu asked a few questions. The guy was rude. I proceeded to order a chicken Gyro. I asked him if it came with feta cheese. He said no, he wanted three dollars extra. And then on top of that when I got home and took a bite of my Gyro, it wasn’t the chicken I ordered. Not sure what kind of meat it was, but it definitely was not chicken. The place was not busy. Unacceptable!

I have been a fan of Gilshar's for 15 years. The food is superb, the wait staff excellent. However every time the front door is opened a large fan is activated that blows freezing cold air on people seated along both walls. Getting that problem is is a must.

The Gyro is the best we’ve ever had even in Greece! (Just as a sidebar, in Greece, they serve their gyros with french fries ) The Greek salad is superb. I would love to have their salad dressing recipe!. The owners are dedicated to serving their customers with great

Best greek food arlund

The absolute best Greek food ever. We’ve been going there for 30 years. Years before Covid, during and after. Consistently the best Greek food ever. Great people. We always recommend Gilshar’s to everyone.
