This place is a true home away from home. The food is fresh and taste's delicious. I buy the same meal all the time. They make the best Pork Chops ever. My family often try their specials. We love Arlene’s and Tom’s. Best Diner in Port.Parking: Their Pork Chops should be an option to recommend.

Arlene and Tom's is one of those hard to fine breakfast and all day places that have a fair price and quality not junk.

Great Mom & Pop type restaurant in Port Jervis. A bit dated inside, but otherwise quite nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was pretty good and reasonably priced. I would definitely eat here again.

Had the (arguably) largest burger of my life today at Arlene and Tom's. I had no idea a $9 burger would be this massive - and delicious. Cooked perfectly, 10/10 would recommend. Unfortunately the fries were borderline burnt from the fryer ?‍?Staff was slow to provide menus but good-natured and nice otherwise. Slow kitchen times during our Sunday visit but overall a very good spot to check out!Wheelchair accessibility: Bathrooms are NOT wheelchair friendly

I have been to this restaurant three times. The first time I went, I was told that soda refills were free. It was not until the third time that I was told that I had to pay an extra $1 for each refill that I felt deceived. Then there's the fact that all the food you make is very salty, and I don't know if that's intentional. So I need to keep drinking drinks or water. Fried chicken wings are a minefield, don’t buy them. It has a strange smell and is very, very salty. Normally, it is 100% salty. Their fried chicken wings are about 300% salty. And they don't tell you honestly how many wings they'll give you. The first time I went there, I asked and they would give you 14. Then the last time I went, I told you that I would only give you 10. The menu doesn't tell you how many will be served to you. Parking is very convenient, the environment is very clean, and the service is very friendly. However, the above experience made me feel sad, so my overall experience is 3 ?stars.

I must say, dining at this establishment was truly a memorable experience, but not in a good way. From the moment we stepped in, it felt like we were imposing on the geriatric server's precious time. Their enthusiasm for our presence was about as warm as a polar vortex. The wait for our food, oh, what an adventure that was! It gave us ample time to ponder life's mysteries, such as why we chose this place in the first place. After over an hour, our food finally graced our table. My dear Philly steak sandwich… how you disappointed me. The "grilled onions" were clearly on strike, still raw and defiant. And let's not forget the pièce de résistance – the immediate onset of what can only be described as a gastrointestinal rebellion. If this is what they call food poisoning, I might as well have dined on a questionable roadside food truck. In sum, it was a dining experience for the ages – an age when culinary mediocrity, apathetic service, and a dance with foodborne illness are the special of the day. Bon appétit, or something like that! Also, they charge 25 cents for take away water. Who does that??
