I would recommend that it be a larger place, otherwise, the Chinese food is good

Just picked up a lunch order. Ordered ribs and asked that they not make them well done. Wouldn't you know it they were burnt and overcooked. Either they are vindictive or just plain ignorant. Will never go back to this WORST CHINESE FOOD in Port Jervis.

Good and quick service as normal. The pork fried rice is very dry and could utilize more vegetables in it.

I went and ordered two combo dinners tonight, we ALWAYS order the same exact order, sweet and sour chicken combo and bones spare rib combo. We've gone here for years! We live at the top of peenpack trail so I picked up our order that was nearly $40, when I got home they had the sweet and sour chicken WAAYYYYY WRONG and had given me sweet and sour shrimp combo. I can't eat shell fish, so I called and told them what had happened. I made it very clear we live 15 minutes away and the guy on the phone told me he'd wait for me to bring back the shrimp combo and replace it for the sweet and sour chicken combo and didn't want to compensate me for my time or gas to go back down there. Finally he said bring back the shrimp and he'd give me the chicken and compensate me a free combo next time we order from there which is about once a week. I felt that was fair so, back down to port jervis we go only to get there to a dark, closed restaurant. So he had just told me to bring it back, was well aware how long it would take to get there yet they closed KNOWING we were on our way back to fix the issue. So, not only did it cost me $40 for food I can't eat, it also cost I'd say no less than $5 in gas, and more money to buy dinner from Ben's Fresh, thank God for them! Their food is amazing, their very fair and I don't believe they'd tell me to bring back a meal they messed up only to close KNOWING I was on my way to fix it. I never bad mouth local businesses, but when they deserve to be bad mouthed I'm going to let people know! Like I said, we eat there about once a week and have never had any issues until now. In my personal opinion they just wanted to close and didn't care that they screwed my food up, then told me to come back that he'd wait for me and I believe they hung up the phone with me and walked out and closed for the night. And what restaurant closes at 9:00pm on a Friday night?!?! I'm taking this back to them tomorrow and for all the s**t they just put us through they better make it right! He knew when he was in the phone with me that he had zero intention on waiting and fixing their mistake!!! Oh I also posted this on their Facebook page they deleted it so I reposted it to another post they had because you can't post you can only comment so they deleted it, and I reposted it in another posts comments and they have now blocked me to hide any negative comments. I'll NEVER give them another dime of my money after 15 years of going there they'll never get my money again!!!

Back for another visit. We had a bit of a late lunch. As always, Sesame Chicken is a must here. It's wonderful, and a more than enough for two. But we always get a few Dim Sum as well. They were excellent.

This is a Chinese kitchen with all the basic offerings. I love the Mapo tofu. Young chow fried rice. Hot and spicy chicken dishes. The butterfly shrimp is not the classic Cantonese egg, onions, bacon, tomato sauce version. The fantail shrimp are enormous. Very attentive, polite staff. Great prices.Vegetarian options: Fried tofu in garlic sauce, Mapo tofu, broccoli in garlic sauce, string beans in garlic sauce.Parking: Park right along the street or walk over from where you live.

One night I was exhausted after working a double shift. I called and placed an order - and promptly fell into a deep sleep. When I finally awoke several hours later I found Good Friends had tried to call me several times. I felt so bad that I had stiffed them. I called them back and explained what had happened and asked them how much I owed them. They told me they understood and not to worry. They are truly 'good friends' and they will always get my business!
