From start to finish, my visit to The Reserve, in Port Jervis was nothing short of amazing. I can’t recommend it enough – it deserves a solid **10+ out of 10**!
The service was top-notch – attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The staff made us feel right at home without being overbearing, and you could tell they genuinely care about giving you the best dining experience.
The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish was crafted with care, and you could taste the high quality of ingredients. Whether you’re a fan of classic flavors or more adventurous options, The Reserve offers something for everyone.
As for the atmosphere, it perfectly balances modern elegance with historic charm. They’ve done an incredible job preserving the original vibe of the space while adding contemporary touches. It feels like stepping into a piece of history, with a warmth and comfort that makes you want to linger.

I visited The Reserve about a week ago after hearing great things through word of mouth—and I’m glad I did! The setting is upscale and welcoming, with a really polished vibe that made a great first impression.
I was greeted right away by Phil, who was professional, kind, and super helpful. He guided me through the menu and made sure I was taken care of from the start. The menu is a bit selective, which I understand, and since I don’t eat meat (except for poultry), I decided to try the truffle fries—and they did not disappoint! They were flavorful, crisp, and truly enjoyable.
I also had the pleasure of meeting CJ, one of the chefs. He was extremely professional, friendly, and carried himself with great mannerism. It’s always a bonus when the kitchen staff is just as engaging as the front-of-house.
Overall, my experience at The Reserve was excellent. Great food, great people, and a great atmosphere—I’ll definitely be back!
An upscale food and beverage restaurant with friendly staff and comfortable settings. Three of us shared appetizers on the Spring menu, which were all unique and flavorful. The chef ,CJ, came out to greet us and talk with us about the food we shared and what we can expect in the Summer menu. I do t write reviews very often because a lot of place are good but mediocre. This however warrants my five star in atmosphere, friendliness and above all excellent choices of food.

Our bartender Jen was wonderful! We shared a bourbon tasting flight and an order of Duck Fat Fries. The sherry aoli is superb!! We will be back for a full dinner.

Not a bad spot...will venture back. Our sever was sooo busy as I elive she wqs the only one on staff at the tine but she was pleasant and as attentive as she could be conaidering. Brunch was our first experience. The expresso martini flight was good. I tried the eggs Benedict (without the hollandaise sauce...not a sauce fan) trio and was OK with it. We will revisit for an evening out to see what it is like. Be prepared to do a lot of reaching as the seats are low along with the tables.
