I ordered 5 kid size cups of ice cream and my daughter then decided she wanted a cone. I asked for one cone on the side, and was told it would be an extra charge. BUT, had I ordered that same kid cup in the cone to begin with, there would be no charge. If the cup and cone are the same exact price, why the extra charge added when "on the side?" I've never had this problem elsewhere and feel like maybe I'm missing something? I was put off by this and will stick with Smusht from now on.

Tried to get a napkin because my hands were dirty from eating and I got denied by the Asian rude man! What store denies someone a simple napkin. NEVER COMING AGAIN!!!!

The Asian man and woman who run this carvel are so rude and clearly miserable running their shop. Their rudeness and attitude is so uncalled for. Port Washington could really do without the eye rolling at simple requests or slight order adjustments. I would redirect all PW residents or anyone visiting to spend your hard earned money at Shmusht Ice cream & Cookies on Main st. Delightful staff and owners and quality ice cream. I would never go back to this carvel if my toddler wasn't asking for it. My 2 year old dropped her spoon and the Asian lady rolled her eyes when I asked for an extra and threw spoon at me. The man also yelled at me when I asked to change the small size cup to a kids size. Port could really do without the lack of basic manners. Thank you for ruining peoples days for absolutely no reason????

Rude people at that store. Horrible customer service
It’s just a basic ice cream parlor. Nothing special. Tucked away in a little corner you wouldn’t find it if you weren’t looking. Was a lot better when the Cinema was open. Could use a makeover and maybe a table or two to sit down and enjoy your ice cream. They are trying, I’ll give them that but it’s an uphill battle for the small businesses in the area.

I asked her one question about the Wednesday promotion buy one get one free and she almost killed me with her eyes and her anger! I am sorry I am in between sizes and want small not medium as she want me to ordered? since when serving soft serve is rocking science? she make the whole experience with my toddler so difficult, I went to support local business and have been there before but this time was disappointing. Carvel remember you are selling the joy of ice cream, it should be fun not stressful!
