Favorite restaurant in port! It hits the spot everytime! I have been going here for 10 years the bibimbap, ramen, japchae are some of my favorites!

In need of a quick bite out on the island, we found this place and found the reviews to be pleasing. We decided to check it out and our first impression was that the front was very inviting. We were caught by surprise the restaurant style, as we were expecting more of a sit down restaurant compared to the order first and then sit down wherever you like. The wait wasn't long for the food, which definitely was good because we were hungry. We ordered chicken katsu and chicken teriyaki with Udon noodles, along side an order beef dumplings. The beef dumplings were ok, not great, but not bad. The chicken katsu's Japanese mayo and special sauce gave it a rich and wonderful flavor that definitely took away from the bad. It was served with purple rice, and despite the fact that it looked like something brought it by aliens, it was far from out-of-this-world. My father's chicken teriyaki was served in a sizzling pan, and was cooked well. However, the biggest problem of this restaurant's food was most prevelant in this dish: the lack of flavor. Across the board, from the rice to the noodles to the chicken, everything tasted rather bland. We added soy sauce but yet again, the flavor just wasn't there. The only thing I actually thoroughly enjoyed was the katsu, which is what carries the review. This place is a miss overall, as the blandness outweighed the positive assets of our visit.

We ordered here, cute store, food was average, not great. Ramen noodles were soggy, dessert order was wrong but we were already home when it was discovered. Check your order twice if you order out.

Absolutely fantastic! Wonderful Bibimbap! Stopped for lunch at this unassuming, out of the way spot. So glad we did.

I ordered from Narinato tonight, the Mandoo was excellent as was the shrimp shumai but from here it went downhill. I ordered Bulgogi, beef marinated, pieces of beef, I received ground beef. I have had it there before and it was very good or else I won't have ordered tonite. I spoke to Chris, who is very nice, he showed concern he gave me the owner, who told me there is nothing he can do about it and had to accept it, $21.00. He didn't even feel a little upset about it. As much as I love the mandoo and the. Shrimp and want to support Narinato I can't afford to.

This spot always delivers. They have good dishes for fair rates, there is no waiting time even when the spot is full.

I eat in this restaurant from time to time! This is the best place to have a bite. I go there frequently. The meals are fantastic, the crew is welcoming and the cost is affordable. I like going in this place to have a decent meal.

I eat here a lot since I work right next to it. I have to say their customer service is always excellent and they keep the place well organized at all times. Prices are affordable and they serve sizeable portions.

Their chicken katsu is the best I've ever had. I don't know how they make it taste that good but it is mind blowing. I literally went out and recommended it to half the people I know. Seriously try it out.

My roommate and I decided to travel the LIRR for the first time since COVID to see if we could spot NEOWISE (it was an acronym-heavy day) and we needed a place for dinner. Searching Yelp, I found Narinatto. We have limited Asian options in our neighborhood, so I was excited to order the japchae and my roommate got the chicken katsu, as well as two Thai iced tea boba milkshakes since it was hot out. We ordered from the train and it was ready to go when I arrived. The staff were super friendly, masked, prompt, and even gave us a free macaroon and free oatmeal cookie with our meal! We walked to the park to eat, and first of all, the food looked beautiful. And the portions were huge; I couldn't finish mine which made me sad because it was so good. I haven't had japchae for months and this was amazing. My roommate was over the moon about his katsu as well, and he finished it all even after commenting that he thought it could have made two meals. We're already planning our next visit (probably in the fall when we want to escape our neighborhood again).
