We discovered Pepe Rosso 24 after the mega storm Sandy, it pratically became our home away from home, their sauces are rich and savory, just like my grandmother used to make, with days without power we tasted basically their all menu, all exceptionally done, thin pizza comes in all varity from plain to gourmet, pastas are not your usual staples dished that you may find everywhere, salads are top notch, conclude with one of the many homemade desserts and you won`t be disappointed.

The food is very very low quality not cooked well i've had takeout many times and it's never good... I usually come in for a couple glasses of wine and typically they act like sitting at the bar as an issue which is strange because there's never anyone in the restaurant when I come. By the way the only reason why I come in is because it's the closest place to my house and there's really nothing else near me the service is absolutely horrible!! And rude!!!! every time I come in there they act like I'm inconveniencing them!!!! today I went in while the entire staffwere eating at the bar and in the dining room. I asked if they were open they all said yes with the exception of the bartender that I have met before who's always been somewhat pleasant, and he asked me to come back later!!!!!! after they told me they were open!!!!! how disgustingly rude!!! I told him no and I sat down at a table that they made me around the corner out of the dining room very uncomfortable, forced me to sit around the corner out of the dining room so their staff could eat their meals in the dining room while I am a paying customer!!!!! they refused to give me food Until their entire staff was finished eating so I sat there and waited!!!!!! when I told him I didn't want food because They said they didn't wanna make it , they gave me the thumbs up and thought that was great!!!!! how disgusting! I will never come back !!! what a horrible experience!!! I called the guy out and he acted like he did nothing wrong unbelievable. The ambience is terrible the food is terrible and the staff is absolutely terrible the worst.

One of the best italian food we had so far, all our dishes seemed prepared with fresh ingredients. A thin crust pizza and a generous order of fried calamari (extremely tender) were our choice of appetizers, the pizza was thin and baked with a fresh San Marzano sauce and Burrata. I had a lobster seafood pasta that was extremely well done, my husband opted for a classic veal parmigiana that was fork tender, our daughter (the foodie) ordered the lamb chops special with brown sauce and fresh mint, I don't eat meat but she said was phenomenal. Their wine list is huge and well thought, crafted cocktails seemed interesting, for dessert we tried the Banana Pudding that was off the menu and a rich espresso bean tartufo, I would go back just for the desserts but this place impressed me with a rustic decor, service and food. We highly recommend it.
