My husband and I recently had dinner at Restaurant X for our anniversary. If you’re looking for an intimate environment, excellent food and a great experience this is the place to go. I can not say enough great things about this restaurant. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left the experience was incredible. (This coming from a person who complains about every restaurant I eat at ??♀️.) I do not have one complaint. We did the tasting menu and wine pairing. The food was fresh, tasteful and prepared excellently. I enjoyed every bite. What stood out the most for me was the atmosphere and energy this restaurant offers. Not once did we feel rushed. To add the service is absolutely exceptional. We can’t wait to go back. I highly recommend Restaurant X

Restaurant, X is a true gem in the heart of Port Washington. Buck, the proprietor, couldn't be more hospitable to his guests. Whatever we wanted, he was quick to try and accommodate. The menu is limited, but what was featured was all delicious. The restaurant is small but that adds to its charm. Great service is alive and well in Port Washington.
The place was completely empty, and the waitress smelled so much of cigarettes that it was almost impossible to enjoy her meal... Every time she came to the table it was clear she had just gone outside to smoke...

Absolutely delicious. Top quality! Everything cooked to perfection. Did not do tasting menu. Ordered a la carte. They did not have a few items on the menu that evening but it didn't matter--service was great, food was perfect! Will definitely be back!

The staff was fabulous but the food was unimaginative. Marketing is quite good though the waiter made all the food sound wonderful until it got to the table.

The front is not very flashy. The inside is ver classy but small. Our server Kerri was very attentive and friendly. The owner was also part of the serving staff, very friendly. The food were very good, everything were fresh. It's a hidden gem! We will definitely go back soon!

We had a WONDERFUL time. Service was impeccable. Food was beyond delicious and wine pairing was spot on. We are definitely coming back for this tasting menu again and will also send our family. Taste and experience is beyond the price we paid. Amazing

Impeccable tasting menu. Tons of food. All very purposeful and delicious. Short staffed so the owner is taking care of everything - but never missed a beat and was so nice and personable the entire time. Will definitely be back.

We enjoyed an absolute feast for the palate and for the eyes last night. On our third visit to this amazing restaurant I chose the vegetarian tasting and wine pairing (outstanding miso-whiskey glazed eggplant,vegan scallops and truffle pasta) and hubby is still raving about his smokey beets w/pistachio vinaigrette and melt in your mouth braised short ribs. If you’re a foodie, trust me on this one. 5 stars aren’t enough⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had delicious brunch made by the Owner Chef. Gave us scrumptious muffins with tasty fig jam in a bread basket. He Was most patient, professional and helpful to our dining needs. Will be back to this new secret hidden Gem!
