Having a hard time posting my opinion. I went there several times. Received very little food on my bagel. The tables dirty tables and not wiped down enough. There are other places to get a decent bagel. Just because the place is remodeled does not mean it's good. Lets see if the business cares.

Had a horrible experience when they were still D&V bagel, not sure what changed, but as shore bagel, they are simply phenomenal. They tend to run out of food, but someone who’s in the food business, I appreciate that because that lets you know it’s fresh product when they do have full stock. Breakfast sandwiches and bagels are out of this world. So glad and appreciative of this local bagel store.

So happy the Bagel Time folks have expanded and opened this gem. Wonderful service, amazing food, and a clean beautiful restaurant. Keep up the good work and amazing food.

Well let me start saying that this business was taken over from an old business that was there before of which made bagels the correct way. This place should be called baby bagels and at a dollar 1.50 each! I think it's exorbitant and the aren't very good bagels to begin with, so they need to go back to bagel school.

If I could give them 0 stars I would and not for the food either. The price is never the same, almost as if she's making it up as she goes along. $14 for pancakes and eggs and bacon?! I know it's Port Washington but be serious.

I don't know why I've been in the mood for bagels lately. Could it be that warm chewy outside, or that softly toasted interior; or the pile of cream cheese they put on it? Either way I saw "D & V and I had to get one. When I walked in and looked around a red flag came up. The floor wasn't clean and it looked a bit run down, but forward I marched. When I waited on line I overheard them talking to a lady and telling her cash only. So at that point why did I stay in line? It's one of those things where you feel like it might be different for you, or you miss-heard. Maybe there's a limit or maybe they had a credit card terminal that would work for my card. I soon found out I heard correctly, they only take cash. Why in today's time do businesses feel cash only works. I wonder like that woman and I, how many customers walked out on them because they had no cash. This Yelp isn't based on the food, it's based of the look of the place and the unfriendliness of the staff. I would like to try a bagel, but I don't think it's worth going to get cash and heading back. So I will leave it up to my imagination to give this bagel shop a fair review in the future.

Over the past few years I have made purchases at D & V Bagels in Port Washington. I live within 3 minutes of the store. Over the past few years I have watched their quality decrease to a point where a few days ago I brought back a simple bagel with cream cheese. Lately they amount of cream cheese they put on a bagel is unacceptable. A few days ago I returned the bagel with cream cheese un-eaten and showed it to the owners. The owner immediately took it from me and threw it in the garbage before other customers could see what they are selling. I guess he knew where it belonged. I did not receive a money refund or replacement. Look at the photograph of what they sold me. A picture is worth a thousand words.
