First time dining since new chef (previously sous chef) inn charge. Menu about 90% the same with a couple of new specials. Wild Goose is a terrific neighborhood restaurant; varied menu, not overly noisy or too bright so good for conversation. Shared two entrees; fried chicken which was a large portion and very crispy. The Wild Goose is a very nice overall experience. The menu has something for (just about) everyone, and the food is always great (I've eaten here probably a dozen times over the past few years). The staff is friendly and helpful, the drinks are solid pours and the prices are reasonable. Really an overall great experience.

Stopped in around 5 on a Sunday after a Mets game—not expecting much, but we were really impressed. Shared the Caesar salad and calamari to start—both tasty and well done. Had the salmon and ricotta ravioli for mains—delicious. Wine pours were generous, drinks were solid, and the service was friendly and on point. Prices were fair. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the neighborhood.
