Walked in and was not greeted. Stood there waiting for 10 minutes before the bartender noticed and finally acknowledged us.
I told her it would be nice if someone acknowledged us shortly after we walked in, even if just to say I’ll be right with you.
That seemed to upset her and she gave me an attitude the rest of the conversation and so we left.

I went with my family for a birthday and their food was so good! Everything was so fresh and delicious but one of the sushi I ordered took a long time to make. Overall, I loved the experience and will definitely be back again.

Food is amazing, they do prefer you to order everything at once and will advise if it's enough food for your party. The crispy rice with tuna is a classic and delicious, portions are great. Definitely would have the Foxy Lady Roll with the truffle Miso - my friends are obsessed with it. House hot sake is great to share - everything on the menu is shareable. Can't go wrong with the yellowtail with jalapeño. Tiga is a solid sushi place. Small restaurant, make sure you make reservations because the food is so worth it!

Just had dinner at Tiga and wow — their sushi is absolutely delicious! Super fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Easily one of the best sushi spots I’ve been to in a while. Highly recommend if you’re a sushi lover! 🍣👏

Another phenomenal culinary experience at TIGA NY in Port Washington. There is no place on Long Island. You can find creative Japanese dishes like these. A must try if you haven’t been. Service was awesome too!

This place should REALLY be 5 stars. There is no better sushi on long Island, or kinder servers. Ashley is so helpful. EVERYTHING is ALWAYS fresh. Excellent quality.

A Sushi Experience That Truly Stands Out

As someone who enjoys sushi on a weekly basis, I’ve tried more spots than I can count—each with its own highs and lows. But this particular restaurant absolutely blew me away. From the moment I stepped in, I knew it was going to be special.

Every item on the menu was exceptional. The sushi was incredibly fresh, and each bite delivered bold, unforgettable flavor. The standout for me? The Billy Joel Roll—a creative, delicious masterpiece that I’ll be dreaming about until my next visit.

The ambiance was perfect—modern yet cozy, making it an ideal spot for a date night. Service was flawless, with attentive and friendly staff who truly elevated the entire dining experience.

Even if you're not local, this place is worth the drive. And once you’re done, a stroll down to the harbor for some ices and a beautiful view is the cherry on top. Highly recommend!

I must be missing something because the place is busy as heck. I guess you must be part of the yuppy crowd that doesn't mind being rushed, being squashed and eating disgustingly over-sauced food for the highest prices imaginable . It's the next day and I have a stomach ache. What really bothered me was the waitress rushing my order , repeatedly telling me how busy they are. I never even got a chance to read the menu. Never again

This place could not be any worse. The food is overpriced and the service is terrible. Don’t even bother calling the food in you will wait an extra 20 minutes after you called 2 hours ago. Terrible experience.
