This is a very nice seafood restaurant. The lobster in the roll was fresh and delicious. The cocktails were generous and the waitstaff and greeters could not have been nicer. The French Fries were perfectly cooked, but my steak was a bit tough.

We are so sad this location is closing. Waterzooi is not only fabulous, but the only Belgian restaurant around. Hundreds of people took to the local Facebook group this week expressing their sadness that it is closing! Our family spent many special occasions here and will miss it a lot. Best of luck to the incredible staff, and hoping one day Waterzooi will come back to Port Washington.

What a great evening with friends. We all had mussel shared a bottle of wine snd tons of bread and a fabulous server, Carlos, and accommodating hostess and a cool and not too loud environment. But what i rarely say is the experience was a good value, and Waterzooi is all that and more

mussel pot was delicious but a huge serving size. definitely order to share. oysters were good, but not the best. overall, a great meal and had a lot of leftovers to take home.

Food was delicious. I would recommend the sweet potato gnocchi and the Belgian mousse. Laid back atmosphere, more like a diner than a restaurant. The only issue I had with the food was the BBQ sauce on the ribs was mid - tasted like grocery store BBQ sauce. The cheese in the fondue was also really good.Kid-friendliness: Laid back, booths.

WE both had Mussels and probably should have only 1 instead of 2. But we ate them all. WE had the Calabrium and for all taste were not spicy enough. Nice glass of Wine and we enjoyed our meal.. We would go back.

Food and service was excellent. Sara was our server and she was so friendly and accommodating. The other girl working with her (didn't catch her name) was also so sweet and was cute with my boys.
From start to finish, was a perfect night out. Hot and dirty martini was a delicious twist with just the right amount of spice. Our servers Carlos and Kelsey couldn't have been more attentive but never hovered. Spot on food recommendations.

This was my 6th time at Waterzoi. Loved it. The food is always delicious, the service quick and attentive, and the staff is knowledgable. Ambiance is very ice. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Will certainly come back.
Server very nice and attentive INITIALLY but became very overwhelmed with amount of tables it seemed. After entree served it took over 40 min to return to us. Water glasses not refilled. Burger over cooked , steak sandwich swimming in cheese. The servers were probably running short staffed and could not keep up. Extremely noisy. Also 5 people squeezed into a table for 4 and these reservations were made weeks ago.

We enjoyed our meal and loved our waitress there but didn't like that there was about 3-4 women with their 3-4 daughter's there and they let them roam around the restaurant making a lot of noise throughout their stay at the restaurant. I was shocked that the mom's didn't say anything to the girl's too stay seated in their chairs at the table and not roam around. They were not toddlers at all but around 10-11 years old.

We love this place! The restaurant is beautiful and the food is great. They offered a prix fixe which was a really good deal. 3 courses for a few dollars more than the price for the entree alone. Our waiter, Carlos, was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back as he told us they have brunch on weekends.

Had a wonderful dining experience. Two of us and we ordered multiple appetizers, entrees and desserts to share and have leftovers to take.home. The food was excellent from the mussels, mozzarella, salad, salmon and burger; followed by wonderful desserts. The service very efficient and super friendly. Looking forward to a return visit soon.
We have only been at this location one other time. The service was fantastic, which has been lacking at many restaurants lately. Carlos was very attentive and we felt well taken care of throughout the meal. He made great suggestions for food and drinks and all were delicious. He changed our plates frequently (always nice when eating mussels) and even brought a wet towel to wipe our hands after eating mussels. It was a great night!
