One of the best!!! This no frills Japanese restaurant has one of the best selections of fresh sushi on Long Island. Been many times and will keep coming back. The omakase has a nice selection of high end different selections then your typical sushi places like sweet shrimp, sea urchin, abalone, lobster, elephant clams, squid, as well as your fatty yellowtail, otoro, king salmon. My husband got the omakase and I opted for the regular sushi sashimi combo which was also delicious and fresh!

Let start with the sushi , the best I have had in 30 years competes with the very best .I didn’t eat off the menu . I asked the chefs to create something special and OMG they were great so was the food . I ordered teriyaki chicken for my wife which was just par . THE PROBLEM I FINISHED MY 30 piece sashimi and sushi platter and still no chicken for the wife . Was upset and pissed ,went to the owners wife explained how displeased I was . She stated I have to take care of other customers at the cashier . I waited aside to no avail, still no I’m sorry we apologize. Nothing at all .What a diss. Going forward I might give them another chance based off taste . I would only order sushi at the bar only . NO respect all all for their clients All I needed would be we’re sorry . AGAIN NO RESPECT AT ALL ..food versus manners . you make you choice ..horrible

The taste is great and the atmosphere is nice. There are not many Japanese restaurants in New York that can offer this quality of Japanese food. It's worth going all the way from Manhattan to eat there.

So delicious! We had sushi appetizer, gyoza, tonkatsu, tempura. I lived in Tokyo for 4 years and this was like I was transported back! Can’t wait to go back!

The owner is present and very caring and it shows in the presentation and quality of the food. All options are very affordable compared to what other restaurants are charging for this quality.
The sushi is top grade. The salmon and fatty tuna are melt in your mouth good.
The other options are also phenomenal because I’ve had them all.
