Horrible. Overpriced. The cook rings this bell non stop. Owner talks to his employees like they are nothing. Obnoxious rude man. Felt so bad for our waiter. He looked like he was being held captive. This place wont be there long. FIX YOUR MENU

Went back and tried 1 more time.... BIG MISTAKE. we were the only customers there and for some reason the tyrant owner decided it was a good time to do work on the bar area and move around tables. HOW RUDE CAN YIU GET! The food was even worse then the first visit and the menu is so confusing. It sounds like you get a salad, couscous and soup with the Expensive entrées, but you only get to choose 1... the menu is NOT clear on this... so we get the bill and were charged all these extras because of that menu. And reading reviews from other people, this is a common occurrence. Do they change it, NO! Because its a excuse to charge more money! This place is in it for the fast dollar and that is going to put them out of business FAST. No wonder we were the only table there on a busy restaurant night. Sorry Casablanca but i gave you 2 chances and you just got worse. Good bye forever

High-end quality at mid-tier prices! Perfect for date night!

Horrible. Overpriced. Did not have a basic item like steak or fish. Staff was amazing especially having to deal with this horrible man lurking around who i assume is the owner. Wow what mean person. The way he spoke to his staff. You could tell it just by the look on the workers face that this is not good place to work. I felt bad for our waiter. There was only ONE waiter and even though the place was EMPTY he seemed rushed and frustrated and it all seemed to stem back to this man who like i said, was just wondering around moving chairs and demanding things from this poor waiter. Another staff member emerged from the kitchen and just looked overworked. No sooner then that and that bell started ringing like crazy, and staff goes running. Between that bell and this obnoxious bell on the front door, i tell you, i had about had it. I tipped our server 30% because he earned it and im sure is not payed well after seeing how they charge so much and for EVERYTHING. The menu is so confusing as to charge you extra money for items that SHOULD be included according to the menu. But no. Its all extra $. Never again. Stay away. Do not support this place unless you are going to rescue the staff from the tyrant with the bell. What a A-hole! What a rip off What a BAD experience.

High-end quality at mid-tier prices! Perfect for date night! Wife and I stopped in on Saturday night and I can't say enough good things about it. The ambience of the place hits you the minute you walk in and transports you to another place - from the music to the furniture to the decor and fixtures, everything is elegantly appointed. The service is absolutely perfect, our server Alex was friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive, as were other members of the staff. We ordered two of the specialty cocktails (casablanca cosmo and Ingrid Bergman) and they were absolutely yummy! Not too strong to ruin the taste in your mouth, but definitely strong enough to settle you in for a nice meal. Perfect. To start, we ordered the briouats, a pastry filled with chicken and almond vaguely reminiscent of an Indian samosa, but with totally different flavors. They are actually served with a drizzle of honey - while I am usually not that into sweet flavors with my savory foods, it totally worked here and they were absolutely scrumptious. For our entrée we had the chicken brochette (essentially spiced chicken skewers) and the couscous royal (couscous with a sampling of different meats). Everything was DELICIOUS, but if I had to name one thing that stood out the most it'd be the couscous. Most couscous is quite grainy in texture, but this chef has some magic secret that churns out the softest, fluffiest, most comforting couscous either of us have ever had. It is a MUST-HAVE when you visit. The dessert options were a little bit less impressive, mostly just standard American desserts like cheesecake etc, but the one thing that is awesome is the Moroccan mint tea. It's the perfect way to cap off the meal - lightly sweetened with an incredibly rich minty aroma, it helps cleanse the palate and settle the stomach. Each sip sent me deep into my own fantasies of sitting in a back alley Cafe somewhere in the streets of Marrakesh, sipping mint tea all day as I watch the merchants haggle. The tea is definitely another must-have. At the end of it all, our bill came out to be about what you'd expect from a date night out at a mid-tier restaurant like Red Lobster, but the quality of food, service, and ambience is definitely high-end!

Delicious food, Great service. Owner even opened up the restaurant for us as our group of five wanted to meet for lunch. Food was fresh and prepared nicely. Comfortable place with round tables and comfy chairs!

It was different... Not fantastic. 3 of the 5 meals were not what was written on the menu or what was ordered. The hummus and tea were good. If you are looking for some beyond the usual then this may be worth a try. Not my favorite.

This is the best Moroccan restaurant I have been to in New York. The hospitality is excellent and the chef who is also part owner is concerned with how happy the guests are. He came out to our table and introduced himself and made sure everything was good. It is a very beautifully decorated place and the food is excellent. This will be one of my regular favorite places to go
