As someone who used to go the Acropolis (former diner here) that place sucked but it was open 24 hours so I went, now CityLine isn’t open late but it’s a GOOD diner. Definitely the best in Poughkeepsie, food is quality and I can’t speak for other people’s taste but it is fresh and clean and that’s important. Super friendly staff, nice atmosphere, retro diner vibe. Good burgers. Sit at the counter and drank coffee inconspicuously, it’s fun

The food is okay, the portions were good. The drink options are moldy pop, tea, coffee, and other breakfast drinks. Waitress came up twice asking what we needed and didn't bring them either time so I had to eat my dish sparingly with sour cream.

Excellent new dinner..... I had been going to this place all my life and then it closed .... You guys opened and it was even better then the last owners and chefs..... And the prices you can NOT beat... Great fresh made to order meals that are FAST but done RIGHT.... The new owner was so kind and courteous.... This is for sure now my go to dinner once again.... So obviously I highly recommend trying this new place out and Ide bet u leave happy satisfied and with a full belly....

Best chocolates milkshakes in many years, excellent French fries & onion rings, great sausage gravy over biscuits the previous day after a morning hike, The G. O. A. T. of rice puddings & a wonderful waitress!!!!! ♥️😊

Honestly the whole place is just wonderful. The inside of the diner is so cool & brand new & the workers are just amazing! A big shot out to beautiful Christine & Phaula. Paola was our server, she was great. She checked back after food was very quickly delivered to ensure we were happy and satisfied with food. We both had French Dip sandwiches which were delicious and plentiful. Came with a cup of soup of the day (beef barley), which was definitely home made and we substituted breakfast potatoes for fries. Great coffee finished up the meal. Such a wonderful family-friendly place to eat in Poughkeepsie!

The ribeye was very good. The waitress was great. The blue cheese that they gave for the salad was so bad. I think it was spoiled, but they said it was Mike blue cheese. They need to find a different blue cheese because even the other one they gave me was rancidunless the refrigerator is not working other than that my girlfriend liked her food. Everything was good.

Had a chicken caesar wrap and half way through eating it I realized the lettuce was rotten, no wonder it didn’t taste great. Will not recommend this place
