We found the staff outstanding, but, sadly, the food disappointing. 😞 This was mostly because of the quality of the bread they use in their sandwiches. A glass of iced tea is $4. Lunch for 2, with tip, hit $50...a bit steep.

This place doesn't disappoint. Have you ever had oysters shucked horribly? This place does it right! The best tasting oysters and done right. The food is of upper quality. Probably the best fine dinning in Poughkeepsie. The price is appropriate for the dinning experience and quality of food. Clean kitchen.

In all honesty the appetizers were not bad. We had the spinach dip and the Asian chicken salad which was good. The amaretto sour was disappointing. What made it worse, the waitress kindly took the drink back had the bartender re-make it. She went on to tell me that THIS TIME the bartender used disaronno! It still was horrible. In any rate, why would the bartender make a drink with low quality ingredients in the first place? We even told our waitress that it was our first time there!
My chosen main course was the salmon. Not cooked medium as I requested and the mashed potatoes were drenched in salt! My husband’s fries were drowned in salt as well. The manger was very pleasant and removed the salmon dish and made more fries sans salt for my husband. He offered another dish on the house.
Primarily I declined due to the staff members talking about my husband and I directly in front us since we first walked in! What’s worse they had a “crew member “with barely any clothes on staring at my husband every single time she decided to walk by our table to the front door!! What nonsense! She had to have passed our table 20+ times for no other reason but to stare at my husband every single time! Icing on the cake: I suppose the person that spoke to us as we were leaving, was a manager/owner was obviously drunk, told us to have a good evening! SMH you can’t make this stuff up.

I really don’t understand how this place has such great reviews. My husband and I were both excited to try it and had high expectations. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing. I ordered the Chicken Milanese and he had the Grilled Pollock—both listed as today’s specials. What a huge disappointment-both dishes were appalling. The chicken was dry and tasted far from fresh, and the fish was also overcooked and completely lacking in flavor. We spent nearly $100 on a meal that we couldn’t even enjoy. What a letdown.

Went in for a quick drink... Jenna the bartender was very friendly and polite. I ordered a Long Island Iced Tea which was more than tasty. Truthfully I didn't order any food so I can't fairly rate their food but after some careful observation I noticed that their salads are very big. But from what I hear the candied bacon is phenomenal. One last thing I noticed was this man who was greeting and knew almost every guest in the restaurant, so when I asked the bartender if that was the manager she had told me no that's the owner Tommy. Not too soon after that he introduced himself and I must say he is one of the kindest n friendliest business owners I have ever encountered from the firmness of his handshake to the attention and constant eye contact while holding conversation. All in all I'd suggest crew restaurant to anyone.

By far one of my favorite restaurants. From The atmosphere , service, food, drinks everything is awesome. I’ve sat at the Bar, tables, dining room, chefs counter, and had private party in back room every time great experience. By far one of the best steaks I ever had was at Crew.

Crew was an outstanding dining experience. We have been to 4 cities in America over a three week period including New York and DC celebrity chef restaurants and hands down this was the best dining experience we have had during our holiday. We sat at the chef’s counter and highly recommend it - the chefs were generous with their time and it really was dinner theatre watching them prepare the incredible food. We do not get this opportunity to get up close and personal so with chefs in our own country (Australia) during a service - 5 stars for sure!
