Placed online order food is not good at all …goat curry no taste plus too much smell from goat ….

So bad, got chili naan, regular naan, butter chicken and curry goat, everything tastes frozen… the butter chicken smells and tastes like a can of chili, like there is just a lot of paprika and cumin with no other spices. The naan is made poorly, and is more like a not risen loaf of foccacia, completely rock hard on the bottom and chewy all the way through. Horrible food.

I tried this place for the first time today because they were having a pretty good deal on uber eats and in my 100% honest opinion it wasnt the best ive ever had unfortunately. Heres what I didnt like: the naan is 2 dollars extra i was assuming it would be more than one piece like most indian resturants give but no it was quite literally one piece of naan. I got the tikki masala and i was expecting decent sized chunks of meat but also to be disappointed again they were fairly small pieces. The sauce also lacked alot of flavor there really was none at all i could taste a little bit of spices and it had heat to it but compared to my usual spot Tanjore it was flavorless. What i did like: the meat was very soft the rice was soft and the portion sizes besides the naan were actually really reasonable for one person and the price. Overall I probably wouldnt get food here again maybe in the future to try someonething else on the menu but the lack of flavor just wasnt it. 3.5/10

Oh really? Most indian foods are gluten free. What gluten does your kadhai chicken have?

"Oh that would be gluten free. but you can't have the naan bread."

Yes no problem. I know to avoid the bread. Thank you. How about the butter chicken (just double checking)

"No that has gluten."

Really? What gluten is in butter chicken?

I know this place has good reviews, but their staff needs just a mild education on what gluten is and what dishes we can have.

You have NO IDEA how much food i order weekly from Tamarid and i just wanted variety.

But my first time calling i get hung up on?

Not a good sign!
