One of the best diners left in Dutchess County. Very good food, great portions, reasonable prices... can't go wrong...

This diner used to be a favorite but the last few visits have been disappointing. The wait staff was super warm and kind, but the food was not prepared correctly (burger undercooked, modifications overlooked). We also have had to wait very long amounts of time for service, from getting our drinks to waiting for our check.

I called ahead and ordered 2 beef gyros. I didn't want fries so they upcharged $3 per salad, which I am ok with. The girl told me 10-15 minutes. I got there 25 minutes later and waited for them to get my order ready. The meat only needs to be heated in their microwave for 3 min. From the time I called it in, it took 55 minutes to get my order ready, bagged up, and in my hands. (The server said my order was ready when I got there, the hostess just didn't look!) When I got home, the salads I paid extra for, were not in the bag, and of course the gyros were ice cold. When I called to tell them, I was told no $6 refund would be issued to me for the salads but I could come back and get them if I wanted. I paid $43 for crappy food, tipped $8 for terrible service, plus the gas I used going there twice. Was an expensive lesson learned about why I will never go to the Duchess Diner again!!

Love this place. Had excellent service. Had a fabulous egg on a toasted hard roll and hot potatoes. Great tea. And no problem parking. I can’t wait to go back. :) Their menu has a nice selection and variety. Easy to find if you are staying at the hotels.

Went with Mom and sister . We all enjoyed the food and fast service. I had the Greek salad. My mom had to tuna fish sandwich. My sister had the burger
