I had the Mexican tacos with Chipotle mushrooms. The portion was a bit small, but they were sure packed with flavour!
The staff was very knowledgeable about the menu and what was vegan and what was gluten free.
They fry all their stuff in the same fryer, I had soft shells, so they weren't fried and thus still very vegan (and healthier)!
I'd go back for sure. Think I'd need two orders of tacos though!

I ordered different food items from here and the food quality was very poor. After reading the reviews, I thought this place would have good food but it didn't. Especially for the price, my expectations were high but the food was way too greasy to consume. I spent $60 for greasy cheese quesadilla, chile rellenos, and cheese enchiladas. The fried ice cream is not fried ice cream but coconut pieces in currdled ice cream. Being from Arizona, I wouldn't classify this as authentic Mexican food but instead way overpriced greasiness of slop no one asked for. I'm highly disappointed about everything I bought here. My family and I couldn't even muster finishing the mess we received as we threw it away. Maybe hire a cook that knows what he or she are doing so serving a bunch of greasy food doesn't happen again? Smh for the disgusting, greasy slop my family and I received.

This place is usually my go to when I wanna sit down and eat Mexican food. I ordered shrimp tacos black beans and rice $20. The shrimp was definitely overcooked and overrated rice and beans no big deal.
The waitress was not very friendly second time I Noticed that. Probably won’t go back, too bad. The place is beautiful and vibrant inside though.

Me and my wife were up here from South Jersey for 2 days. We both love Mexican food and saw this place had good reviews on Google. So we went and we not disappointed one bit. The staff was so friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. We were going to get something else for dinner but the street corn was so amazing we had to come back a second night. The steak tacos are incredible and shrimp tostados were amazing. It's a shame we live 3.5 hours away or we'd be in every week. Thank you soooooooo much.
I needed lunch in the hour I had between trains, and El Azteca was perfect for a delicious meal with quick, friendly service. Just from the chips and salsa alone I could tell it was going to be a great meal. A popular spot for a reason! Also, lots of non meat options.

This place has great authentic Mexican food! The prices are fair. The tacos are made generously. The service is always pleasant, especially Gabby, she’s such a sweetheart. The restaurant is decorated very nicely, I love the back patio especially on a summer night. Try the Horchata, it is very good!
