This is the best pizza in Poughkeepsie

As long as i loved in the valley, I always wanted to try this place, and i tried it for the first time today and it was amazing!!

I ordered A pesto Alfredo for delivery directly through their website and they use slice to deliver. I received regular Alfredo. I contacted slice whom I got the delivery through and placed the order through and told them I got the wrong food but because the restaurant was closed I was unable to get my food remade correctly. I was unable to get a refund speaking with slice. They tell me that the restaurant says they gave the correct food which they did not and there’s nothing they can do for me so I’m out my money. I’m out my food and there’s nothing that anybody can do to assist the situation. This is terrible on behalf of the restaurant because as a local to Poughkeepsie, I will be spreading the word that this restaurant does not do good business. Do not give this business your money bc that’s all they care about. No service nor hospitality. Exactly the opposite that I would expect from a traditional family owned Italian restaurant very disappointed

Rode my bike here for the first time, from Walkway Over the Hudson. Excellent decision! Sat outside and enjoyed sights and sounds of Poughkeepsie. Obnoxiously large slices, loaded with FRESH toppings, QUALITY cheese (yes you can absolutely tell the difference), smothered over the most perfectly cooked and crispy crust I’ve ever had. Highly recommend this place! It is my new favorite and quite possibly the best pizza in all of New York!

I remember when this place opened. The food was outstanding then and still is today. Best pizza, slices are big and the balance of sauce and cheese was perfect.

Sucks the pizza is good, because the customer service is absolutely horrible. We’ve given up on this place. As good as the pizza is, it’s not worth the attitude received to get it anymore. Used our 12 pizza coupons for one last pizza, and will be going somewhere else from now on.
**edit: there was no 2 liter discussed during my order at all 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Must be another customer they had a problem with that day. We just dealt with the horrible attitude of the girl on the phone who acts like her job is a waste of her time, picked up our pizza, and are glad to be done with going to this place. No arguments, no complaints knowing it would not matter, just being done and warning others about the horrible experiences… yes more than one. We gave this place TWELVE chances, before giving up. Flat out lieing to try and negate the horrible attitude of your staff, shows what a real class act this place is. Good luck to anyone who gives it a try. Definitely not worth our time or money. Wouldn’t recommend dealing with the staff here to anyone.

I ordered delivery just a little while ago meaning 615pm the fried calamari was the worst ive tasted in my 5yrs. It was like I could have gone to the frozen section in shoprite an did it better an probably cheaper.the egg plant parm vodka sub was over loaded in cheese that the lid wasn't even closed all the way and the egg plant tasted mushy like I was soaked in patter . I took pictures. I was in the food industry for 18years im sooooo disappointed especially ive been ordering from them since I moved into the area.

9/13/25 We were here for the weekend for an assembly. We ordered around 6pm on Saturday for pickup. A large pepperoni, steak and cheese stromboli, and turkey club hoagie. Everything was really great! The pizza was delicious. The steak and cheese was packed full and the hoagie was really stuffed with turkey and bacon! Great restaurant and we'll be coming here for every assembly at the Newburgh Hall from now on 😃 The order came to $48.

What can I really say about a mediocre place? The establishment is pretty small, but cozy. Dining in and sitting was the best part of the experience. I like that they had all the shakers of parmesan, garlic and red pepper, off to the side to grab alongside napkins and such. But the pizza itself man...I mean it was alright. Not really much to say. It's a pizza. I just got a regular pepperoni and it taste like anywhere else. I came into this place with a lot of hype surrounding it, they have a big sign hanging above the street making seem like this is gonna be a really good pizza spot. It was just ok. So it was disappointing because of my initial expectations of taste but it's a decent pie.
I'm not from New York so I don't know how things work up there, but one weird thing was you hand the garbage ang dishes back to the employees at the front?? That was weird and made it kind of awkward when people are ordering.
All in all it wasn't a wasted trip but I probably wouldn't go back. I've had better pizza.
