The baba ghanoush is unreal. You will not find anything better in this area. Pita bread fresh and tasty, and their falafel is so good also! Highly recommend! They are currently operating out of a food truck at 136 Parker Avenue. Limited outdoor seating available. This is the most amazing food!

10/10! You can tell the food is made with love. I originally came to pick up homeade baklava, (so hard to find now adays). I was hungry and decided to try the combo meal with chicken. I took it to go, so I was entirely surprised when I got home to see a meal large enough for 3 -4 people. The price for portion and quality is more than fair. I literally heard music....when I tried the baklava. Flavors are super prominent, and the baklava is not overly sweet, and the food is not overly salty. Not to mention the staff were helpful, patient, and friendly.

I have ordered Greek Gyro and falafel sandwich, coffee, and soda. Greek Gyro and falafel is 4 stars. Service quality is average. Coffee is not their best seller I guess, taste is below average, served without cream, or spoon, or cup plate. I would recommend this place as a stop by or take-out restaurant.

I choose Falafel Town, or Hudson Valley Falafel, over the other Mediterranean restaurants in town (which serve basically the same choices in foods) because they have the best falafels I've ever tried. Hands down the best in Poughkeepsie. Every time my husband and I have eaten here we have gotten a delicious, fresh meal. I like my falafel to be quite crunchy on the outside & when these get cold they do wonderfully popped in the oven for a few minutes. I have noticed reviews about the oil being old & a moldy pita bread, but personally that has never happened to me here. This place IS family owned.... so ..Maybe they had a bad day that day or something, or just wasn't paying close enough attention to everything, idk. But don't go by these reviews. I have eaten here many times & they are worth at least trying ONE time to see if you like it or not. 💕 May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon this family & their restaurant business... may you keep to the straight path so as not to earn the anger of Allah, as can so easily be done in today's world when we are trying to cater to & please those other than Allah. The food was amazing and the service was very friendly. The food is very authentic. I really enjoyed the Vegetarian Entree it was delicious. We definitely will be back.
