Stopped in yesterday for a pie, visiting from out of town. Grew up around here. My family has ordered pies here since I was a kid. This is hands down the best pizza in Poughkeepsie, and possible even the state. The only real competition was DDs and they closed down. It's made fresh to order 100% of the time, just call in 15 minutes ahead of time. Don't know how they do it but the bread is mouth-watering and the cheese/sauce is just perfect. I love this place. My wife grew in in NYC so she knows pizza. She had a slice yesterday and she thought it was out of this world. I love this place, I hope they never change. I don't understand where all the negative reviews came from. They seem bogus to me. I've lived all over the eastern seaboard and must have tried 100 pizza joints, and nothing even compares to this.

If I could I would place negative stars. Went here one time to order out and the food selection was minimal. My guest got pizza and I chose to go across the street to another pizza place. This was after the nasty attitude of the owner and the disrespect he showed to an older couple dining in that asked him if he had straws and he said yeah on the counter. Absolutely disrespectful attitude and nasty food. Don't waste your money.

Really nice experience. Ate alone after dropping my kid off at college. Very friendly staff…and good food. Had the penne aka vodka (delicious) with a green salad. Inexpensive for what you get. Large portion. Very satisfying. Not fancy…but clean and comfortable!

Parking: Tons of parking. Located in a strip mall.

Sauce is a bit sweet/tangy, and pies come out under cooked even when asked to make it crispy. The guy behind the counter was rude to customers and people behind the counter. He was probably the owner or manager.
