The original owner was a class act — respectful, professional, and proud of the quality. Unfortunately, the current owner is the complete opposite: unprofessional, cheap, and lacking any sense of good customer service. The meat quality has dropped significantly, portions are small for the price, and the cleanliness is questionable at best. If you enjoy being overcharged for subpar products in a less-than-sanitary environment, this might be your spot. Otherwise, I’d steer clear.

I accidentally visited the store, they have good selection of commonly used Middle Eastern ingredients. Every product I touched it was absolutely fresh, the sales man, probably he was the owner, is very friendly and helpful, I absolutely loved this place.

The quality of their fresh meat is unmatched and they are helpful and informative with recipes and uses of the very special items they offer

Haddad's sadly apparently sold to new owners around a year ago. The new owners are trying hard I think but no comparison.

Amazing products and fresh food as well! You can find great middle eastern products which you can't usually find anywhere else in the region. The sandwiches are great. The falafel & lentil soup is a MUST TRY!

Falafel wraps are insane. Absolutely the best in the area. The salad and hot sauce and just layers of flavor. Really nice grocery store as well. I'm definitely coming back to grab spices and frozen samosas. Owner, i assume, was super nice and got our orders out very fast. Highly highly recommend! Will be returning soon.

Love love this place. They are wonderful, they order things for you if they don’t have it. I cannot say enough about how much I love this place ! Great food, great people .

Great selection of hard to find grocery items, and delicious prepared foods. Friendly, welcoming staff, just wish I lived closer so I could come more often.

WOW!!First of all ONE OF THE KINDEST MEN greets you, warm smile friendly tone of voice. Even a little story about the flavours you are about to taste.He even offers FREE HOT TEA!Now it isn't the prettiest of places BUT forget about that. I got the Chicken Kabob Wrap, it hangs on a roaster. He slices your portion from the chicken as you watch. Offered to taste before ordering.Now I had zero ideas why I went here, and am glad I did. This is the most flavourful wrap EVER!Ooh the music sets the tone of sitting someplace other than Poughkeepsie NY. Gives a nice sense of charm about the space.

A discovery in the middle of Poughkeepsie NY! Variety of products, food to eat there and take away, good service and good food. I suggest you post some photos of the food they offer there, for those of us who know Middle Eastern dishes well.

Omg... the chicken shawarma is perfect!!! And the homemade sandwich cookie balls are so good! 10/10... bringing my boyfriend with me next time!

Friendly service, wonderful hot food menu, imported ingredients to purchase in the grocery section. only disappointment is they seem to struggle with organization so there's often boxes of product and stuff everywhere. The food is so good though I don't really care that'd just be input to make the place even better.

Had a great visit at this store! I haven't tried the best Middle Eastern food until I came here! The sandwich melts right into my mouth. The owner provided the best hospitality, the food/sandwich was extraordinary, and gets variety of ethnic goods! without a doubt the best Middle Eastern food I’ve ever had and I’m from New York City!
