The pulled pork and ribs were amazing, got sides of Mac n Cheese and Beans and they were very good. Dessert was unreal, banana pudding and sticky cake were incredible. Probably the best BBQ I’ve had in NY and would give Texas and Louisville a run for its money.

This place is to die for. I mean literally, the food is delicious. The collard greens are off the chain. The greens are flavored well with meat. I am only here for a short time but I will be back. The staff are friendly and have a pleasant inviting attitude. The prices are very reasonable.

Today, I stumbled on the Poughkeepsie location, I didn't have to worry about grilling. The staff rendered a warm friendly professional gesture & polished appearance The place was very clean, that's quite impressive. The prices are reasonable, I ordered: The BRISKET: it was tender, flavorable, trimmed in a appropiate portions to enjoy. The Mac & Cheese: It appeared to have a blend of cheese, nice consistency and a mild flavor. A great approach not overcompensate due to the other flavors in the food items. The WOOD FRIED CHICKEN: The blend of flavors on the outside of the chicken was balanced, the inside was tender. Cornbread: The consistency was a bit thick. I guess it's a personal preference. I like the consistency smooth & not a heavy consistency.

Who ever has not discovered this place is missing out. This is a must have and everyone should eat here at least once a week. The empanadas are a fav in my house. I highly recommend the brisket sandwiches. I order the half a chicken at least once a week.
