Crust is divine. Lemon pepper wings are the best wings I’ve ever had. So flavorful, crispy, and juicy. Their Caesar salad is something I crave on a regular basis.
The Gelatos are really nice as well, very flavorful and the texture is great. Lots of their dessert options contain tree nuts which I can’t have, so unfortunately I haven’t had many of them, but I’m sure they’re amazing.
These people don’t play. They know how to feed you. Don’t take my word for it, go see for yourself. Go in person and have it fresh, because while delivery is handy, it does not do their tasty work justice.
Most of the pizzas reheat well the next day on a sheet pan at 375F for like 7-10 mins. If you get a “special,” keep the various toppings in mind when doing this, remove any greens, nuts, or things you don’t want wilty or warmed and add them back after. :)

The website says you are open on Wednesdays. To be safe I call and of course the phone immediately goes to voice mail and says busy and can’t take your call like it does any other time you are busy. So I try to order online and it says not taking orders. Again this place is famous for not taking calls or orders at will. It had been a while and I really wanted your pizza so I drove from across the river at peak traffic time to order in person. The door was locked but people were inside. What’s the explanation ? Is your establishment by invite only on special days with a secret code and phone number? Unbelievable.

Came to Poughkeepsie for a show, it was canceled due to inclement weather. Decided to do dinner at the Bbq place next door(which was closed) My second choice was definitely Detroit pizza! Staff was very welcoming and friendly! Ordered wings-super crispy and delicious! And a custom Detroit pizza! Chefs kiss!

Great, great service, the spacing in the restaurant can be optimized better to fit more people. Bar seating felt a little invasive with the kitchen on the other side of the bar. Maybe the checkout desk can be moved to the front.

I think my only possible negative may be detroit style isn't my favorite style of pizza. The sauce to crust ratio isn't optimal. However this was very good.

Absolutely phenomenal pizza with an amazing staff. They are kind, courteous and get you taken care of quickly.
So many options to choose from, but really loved the Hudson Hornet and the Ford Funghi. Also they cooked the wings perfectly 😋
