Island House Caribbean restaurant

I don’t normally do oxtails because you don’t get your $$$ worth. With that being said. I just brought $28 dollars worth of bones and rice. Very disappointed, NEVA AGAIN!!!!!

Island House came recommended, & their jerk chicken didn't disappoint! Best smoky flavor & dry rub I have had in a long time. Just a touch of jerk sauce is obligatory, & it balanced everything out. Great way to celebrate Juneteenth! And don't tell anyone, but I went & enjoyed my meal at the laundromat next door.

Closest thing to Jamacia we have found. OnlyComplaint is that things often don’t taste the same twice making it hard to know what to order each timeBut it is often delish! Double check your order before leaving. As something is often left behind

And they rung my order $20!!! Over the correct price ? if I would have not said anything...THEY Would have NOT??Who ever they lady is that's always arguing with her boyfriend/ husband is rude and AnnoyingI gave them second chance and the only thing I can say is .... HOW DO THEY EVEN MAKE ONE! DOLLAR!!!?SUCKS!!! Across The Board!?

Food id great ? When you order eat and the restaurant has no clue ??‍♂️ what the plastic in your food is because all utensils are steel! Dam. Either have to be privileged or not the best experience.

Parking: Parking is corny, they close early get rushed or cursed by clerk etc

I was so disappointed. For the price I paid for my oxtails… I expected to get some that had meat on them. I was charged more then 20$ for a plate of rice with a couple oxtails which barely had any meat. Not to mention the rice and cabbage tasted funky. It ended up in the trash.

Great food. The only thing that is not consistent is their portion sizes. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM A YOUNG MAN THAT WHO IS USUALLY THERE EVERY TIME I GO THERE.
