Great food. The only thing that is not consistent is their portion sizes. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM A YOUNG MAN THAT WHO IS USUALLY THERE EVERY TIME I GO THERE.
The food here is great. The service is polite and they get to you as fast as they can. I just wish they were open a little later so I could make it there in time more often.

No trip to Poughkeepsie is complete without a stop here, in fact, I head here before I go to my hotel. Funny story is I read a review about the staff being rude and there's a running joke about the ruder the staff at a Jamaican restaurant, the better the food. Lol. The staff were not at all rude, but the food has been amazing every time! I center had their j*** chicken, fried chicken, oxtails, curried goat, curried chicken, spicy shrimp, rice and peas, all varieties of patties and they're a hot every time. Been coming here for a year and the flavor and portions that remained consistently good! It's not a sit and dine location, also you either park on the street or in the lot of the grocery store next door. Ps. If you want patties, go early or call ahead first. They sell out fast!

First-time visitor, I love the ambiance of the place customer service good, but please tell the chef low down on the SALT OMG I had (cow foot and beans) if a man was DRUNK he would've SOBER up one time, please. You are gonna kill people with salt. your place is not a rum bar !!!
Food id great ? When you order eat and the restaurant has no clue ??♂️ what the plastic in your food is because all utensils are steel! Dam. Either have to be privileged or not the best experience.Parking: Parking is corny, they close early get rushed or cursed by clerk etc

They’re horrible I would never go back every-time I try to give a Jamaican restaurant a chance in Poughkeepsie I’m highly disappointed. They Mac&cheese is horrific I went there around the time they open up and it looks as if they resell Mac&cheese that was cooked days ago. Plantains hard as hell and They sell shrimp soup without the shrimp.

I strongly would not recommend this place they are rude and need customer service training when i walked in to pick up an order the order i was not greeted just started at untill i told them that i was there to pick up an order and it wasn't ready and had to wait 10 minutes. I come back in 15 minutes and its still not ready and told so in a unwelcoming tone like it was my fault.. And move so slow like it hurts.... And as to the owners responce to me only beaing a delivery person... #1 I did state that i was picking up an order "in 3rd line above" #2 through that comment shows how much you respect the people providing a professional service that represents and serves your customers but you also need to have customer service training #3 the other comments state that they also had bad customer service #4 i never mentioned anything about food or quality of food JUST THE CUSTOMER SERVICE just because i deliver food dosent meant your staff can speak to me condescendingly #5 in that order your staff forgot to add the drinks "complained by my customer at drop off" check your cameras for that as well that can also affect your business

Well it’s about time!! We needed a great Caribbean restaurant that gives us consistency with the menu and we’ve got one! The food is seasoned well, best food portion size for the low price they charge. Stay consistent guys and you will need a larger place soon enough!! Hats off to the chef! See you soon!!!
