I went in and they immediately turned the lights off as I walked in. Apparently closing is earlier than Google says. It just seemed rude. I tried asking about the sweet treats but a lady kept saying “the kitchen’s closed!” I finally got one employee that wasn’t grumpy and he at least offered some help, though they had nothing vegan or gluten free besides some item with a very odd mix of ingredients. I chose to leave.

Excellent coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and pastries. That’s right… we wore elastic waste bands and tried a lot! Haha. Great service and vibe. Huge fan!

Fantastic, imaginative & traditional baked goods, prepared with quality ingredients and attention to detail. The country loaf is a weekly must in our household, and holds up for the week (if we can make it last that long). Pairs as perfectly as possible with good butter, basically the best a bread can be. Haven’t had a bad pastry from this place, been going for years. The service is great, personable, and gives each order a human touch (regardless of how long the line outside is). Coffee is prepared with care, and is delicious. The owners are kind, genuine and generous. We love this bakery.

You can tell how much the owner loves this bakery, with a huge smile. The mocha I got was delicious and the food is heavenly!

We were excited to catch up with our friend after a long time and, as always, chose Kelly’s—our go-to spot. However, this time was really disappointing. The food was mid this. One of the staff members kept bothering our friend about wearing footwear, even though there was no clear reason for it and that’s not even a shoe. It made us uncomfortable and ruined the experience. Unfortunately, we couldn’t enjoy our time like we usually do.

I’ve been going here often for the past few months
Let me tell you rn to whoever is reading, THIS right here bakery is worth every penny you spend
Do not be intimidated/mistaken by the plethora of Vegan, Gluten free, and dietary restriction friendly options within the establishment, because they absolutely do not sacrifice quality or taste in order to accommodate to a wider audience.
My favorites from here are (in descending order) The basque cheesecake, carrot cake focaccia, almond butter cakes, egg sandwich, and B.A.L.T sandwich.
Do not underestimate these culinary divas.

As mentioned in many other reviews, the food here is good, but the service is another story. I've had multiple experiences at this cafe where a male employee has either grabbed my arm or touched my belongings without permission. Personal space clearly isn't respected here. I understand asking someone to move their things, but grabbing my shoulders from behind. Especially when I had noise-canceling headphones on. It is completely inappropriate and made me feel extremely uncomfortable and caught off guard.
Why are we grabbing people and being so aggressive? This has happened more than once, and it's not okay. I won't be returning because every time I've been here, I've left feeling off and uneasy.
On top of that, when my significant other and I visited together, we were immediately told (in a rude tone) about a 90-minute seating limit. Which, fine, that's the policy--but the same employee kept approaching us and hovering, clearly watching what we were doing. It felt invasive and unwelcoming.
Judging by other reviews, this seems to be a pattern. Instead of making excuses or giving copy-paste responses to criticism, maybe it's time to actually address and fix the root of the problem: the touchy behavior and rude attitudes. It's not that hard to be kind to people, or to keep your hands to yourself. If you want to feel uncomfortable and be touched, this is a great spot for you.

Nice location and atmosphere; unfortunately the pretentious staff was difficult to tolerate and made us feel unwelcome. We were harassed twice over an empty water bottle we brought in and filled with their water for our 18 month old daughter to drink. I understand rules - but they should apply some common sense and assess the situation before harassing their customers that just paid $50 for a glorified piece of toast. NOT recommended!

Local friendly came into the bakery on a random snowy day in April. The barista makes delicious and beautiful looking lattes. My order was a large vanilla latte and B.A.L.T with egg. 100% will be coming back 😁

I love Kelly’s Bakery, yes it gets packed and you sometimes have to wait if you decide to dine in, but it is worth it. From the service to the food and the coffee! Truly chefs kiss! Regarding the complaints of the rules….you are not entitled to go into a business and try to tell someone how to run it, that’s it and that’s all.

My wife and I finally had a chance to stop by here for some takeout pastries. Everything looked great, but you know how that can go. Looks and tastes don't always go together. We picked out a couple of croissants, pretzels, a slice of cheesecake, and a coffee.
In this case, looks and taste were happily married. The croissants were light and buttery, with a crisp, flaky outer crust—some of the best I have ever devoured. The pretzels were super fresh, soft, and not buried in salt—just fabulous. The cheesecake was similar to a plain NY style that was not overly sweet but moist and flavorful—just as good as my favorite NYC S&S Cheesecake. Oh yes, the coffee was fresh, hot, and strong. The takeout service was smooth and efficient. This was an excellent stop for us, as it would be for any lover of outstanding baked goods.
