OK so let’s get one thing straight. Kelly’s is, perhaps, one of the greatest bakeries in the entire state of NY. That’s not hyperbole. Kevin, the pastry chef, was at Blue Hill and it shows.
You want mouth-watering pastries? You go here. You want mind-blowing croissants? You go here. You want sandwiches and specials that leave you speechless? Yeah, you go here.
Oh and their egg sandwich? No joke, it’s maybe the best EVER. It’s a new paradigm for egg-sandwich.
And we haven’t even gotten to the best part. The people. Kevin and Darren, the owners, are just super humans. So are the rest of the staff. Daniel, Laurie, Olivia.
When you come here, your family. It really is like Cheers. It’s a joy to the community and we’re so lucky, so grateful, they are here.

Everything is very good here. Love going and go often… my only issue has been with the crescents. They are very small for the price. Should either lower the cost or make them a little bigger.

This place has started to become one of my favorite places to get a great Latte and/or small bite to eat. It's very welcoming and even when busy, I've experienced kindness from the staff. The Barista makes the best lattes hands down. Definitely a gem of a find in Poughkeepsie.
