Loved the decor and ambiance here. We had a large group of about 15 and the service was great! The food came out on time, and it was hot and everyone's food came out at the same time! Good job! They had several servers bringing the food-cleaning the table- and checking on everyone.Everyone enjoyed the food and drinks. The only downside is that they said they could not separate the check...????!!! So we had to wait until it was time to pay to go up with our credit cards and try to figure it all out then!I mean really, why could they not have separate checks? It really didn't make any sense to any of us. it just made it more confusing when it was time to leave. But other than that the service was fantastic, and everyone enjoyed their food.

Stopped here on New Year's Eve for dinner before heading home for the evening. There was a special menu which we expected as we had called ahead for reservations & this was explained to us along with the fact that Sundays was now Mill house Steak House ...What I did not expect was to wait 10 plus minutes after being seated before anyone came over to welcome us or offer us some water or take a drink order! The onion soup was fabulous. Then next surprise was to have our waiter explain to me that I could not order the Cesar salad with dressing on the side & that the dressing was already on the salad. Our burgers were great & done to perfection. My complaint with the side of fries is no substitutes allowed. Someone over 65 who is having a huge burger with bacon , onions & a hearty roll doesn't necessarily want fries. The service was a bit shaky; hence the three stars. We might come back to try the regular menu...

Best food in Pk with service to match. Price is on the higher end and it can get very crowded so plan ahead for parking.

We always have a great meal when we come here. The appetizers were great. The wings were meaty although not as spicy as we'd hoped. The bang bang cauliflower is always good. I think the Gnocchi with Short Ribs is the best. It was the favorite of the night. It is so rich and comforting and filling!!! I get it almost every time! My husband liked the Brisket sandwich. It was flavorful and delicious. Messy but delicious. We liked the shoestring fries too. The salmon sandwich was good. I felt the filet was small for the sandwich so that was disappointing. We ordered the fruity flight of beers...all delicious except for the cucumber beer. The place was packed on a Friday night so make reservations. The bar was noisy so we asked for a table on the upper floors which was a good idea. Keep that in mind if you're looking to be able to talk to your friends.

Dinner was delicious, the beer tasting was also great! They make an interesting homemade salsa, hit sauce sweet and spicy. Atmosphere loud because college students go there. Nice sit up bar, servers are quick to bring our orders. Definjtely, will go back!

Another swell Poughkeepsie find! I swear this city is on the cusp of being a culinary hotspot, with eateries like Hudson & Packard (obsessed). While not the most vegan-friendly menu, the single entree noted as vegetarian (cauliflower sticky rice) is easily modified to be vegan. Despite the humble name, it is absolutely delicious! And although I'm normally bummed out that the sauce that really ties everything together is going to have to be left off, this is one of the rare times that it didn't matter (but soy sauce is a nice addition). If, like me, you're not into beer, there is a decent wine and cocktail list. I had a perfectly fine sparkling wine by the glass (several of them, if you must know. It had been quite a week...)I loved the bustling modern beer hall atmosphere, with plenty of space but enough sectioning off to make it feel intimate. There's another level or two, as well (great for parties) and an outdoor patio. We had the most personable waitress and we were very impressed with the service overall. I regret not having discovered Mill House Brewing before moving out of the area, but here we are. I'll be thrilled to return next time we are back in town and I'll be recommending Mill House to friends and family.

Went for lunch with my wife wanted a bratwurst and beer waitress was rude and could not recommend a beer asked for a bratwurst with no trimmings was refused and told could not do it but responded with an attitude like what is with these people i thought it was a reasonable request to ask a restaurant to modify a dish after all it’s not McDonald’s and and ordering a number 3 supersized left and went to another restaurant never to return

We come here regularly and love that the menu changes often. The parking lot is usually full but you're able to park at the neighboring church parking lot. The food was amazing! We had the garlic bread bruschetta, baked stuffed mushroom dip which my daughter who loves spinach dip but hates mushrooms devoured. I had lobster and corn pasta. The lobster was tender and the past was just right. We had a delicious evening.

Nice ambiance, good service, and very good food. Didn't try the beers as I'm not a big beer fan, but they seemed popular with everyone else. I had a really nice cocktail with our dinner. Service was very friendly and attentive. Lots of interesting options on the menu. We had a coconut wing special which was excellent. I had the 50/50 beef/bacon burger which was very good, as were the Belgian fries (crispy, salty, and tasty!). Wife had fish and chips and said it was tender and well done. Only weak spot was the brownie dessert. It was ok, but not at the same level as the rest of the food. Highly recommend overall!

Some great beers (especially their IPAs and blueberry beer), incredible service, a delicious lobster roll, and a fun time.

Pretty standard brewpub experience. Actually building is pretty cool, an old school vibe. Staff is friendly, service is a bit slow. Beer is drinkable. Food is good but a bit overpriced for quality. Kid friendly. Not a destination but gets job done in area.

The staff are incredibly kind and knowledgable about the menu. But service itself was slow. The food is not particularly flavorful or remarkable, especially given their prices. Also worth noting that this is not an allergen-free establishment. They have very few gluten-free options and do not have separate prep spaces. So if you have allergen sensitivities, this isn't a great spot for you.

We recently hosted a rehearsal dinner in their 2nd floor Farm Room, and followed the advice of the MHBC event coordinator, Danielle, to make this a Cocktail-style event when our guest list increased. Best decision ever! This format allowed for lots of mingling and interaction, an abundance of good bar food, great selection of beers and wine, and adequate seating. Our guests loved it!! We offered 7 menu items and all were well-received. But the 2 we heard rave reviews for were the Fig & Pig pizza, and BangBang cauliflower. Don’t skip these …. The food came out hot and inviting, in wave after wave, and as Danielle promised NO ONE left hungry. We live out of state so planned this long-distance. Danielle was very accessible, helpful and reliable. Prices are in line with their competition and reasonable. I do recommend you book WELL in advance!!

Arrived on Sunday evening and got a table within minutes. The restaurant was comfortable and clean. The staff was attentive, upbeat, and helpful. The food selection was large and our dinners were delicious. There was a good variety of beer and malt beverage and we enjoyed all of our selections.
