We always have a great time when we go to MHBC! Our go to is to get a few appetizers and small beers from their abundant menu, and everything is usually stellar. We’ve had the pierogi, pretzel bites, gyro sliders, pickle chips, and for mains, the Nashville Hot Chicken Salad (a stunner!!!) and the chicken sandwich (also tasty, but boy does that biscuit crumble). The beer is good, too, I’d recommend the raspberry or blueberry blessing (or the cucumber if you’re up for something refreshing and unique). Prices are a little high and service can be slow, but overall a quality restaurant that we will be back to soon.

A group of 4 waited one hour for our food on a Friday night because two of us ordered pizza. After repeated inquiries about our food, we learned that the pizza oven can only handle 5 at a time. We were told “a lot of people ordered pizza tonight and we are really backed up!” We should have been warned when we ordered! The food was very good when it finally arrived, and we were offered free dessert, but the damage was already done.

My wife, our son, and I went to the MHBC for dinner for my birthday when we were up in the Hudson Valley. We aren't big beer drinkers but thought the menu looked great. My wife got the Pear Pressure and loved it. We got the fried calamari salad to start and the fried buffalo Brussel sprouts. The salad was great and the Brussel sprouts were awesome with the blue cheese aioli. My wife got the bistro steak and loved it and I got the fish and chips with the Belgian fried. The fish was great but the chips could have been crispier. For dessert we got the brown sugar butter cake and man was that out of this world. I would recommend a reservation because we saw countless people being turned away on a Saturday night or given an ETA of 1.5+ hour wait.

I got the Nashville hot chicken salad: feta cheese, pickles, and blue cheese dressing. It might not sound like much, but it was incredibly good. Washed it down with a Mexican lager at the bar.

The bartenders were super nice and the vibe was solid. Great place. If I lived here, I’d definitely be a regular.

Holy salt. Everything felt over salted. We got the buffalo shrimp appetizer, first off for 20$ and only 6 shrimps, it felt expensive, secondly it was so salty. If you got past the salt, it was just ok. Nothing special breaded shrimp with a dab of buffalo sauce on it. The lettuce it sat on was good, I guess there was that. Also got the dip sandwich, it was fine, the bread wa s the wrong texture, to soft for a dip, the bread got instantly soggy when you dipped. I prefer a crustier bread, the meat in the sandwich was good though. Fries were salty too, but I kind of expected fries to be salty. I left feeling out salted and felt like it was a bit expensive for the area. The service was fine. Overall not worth it.

Good brunch place - we enjoyed the breakfast bowl and the breakfast chimichanga. Good stop before going to the walkway over the hudson.

The restaurant is a short walk from the Bardavon 1869 Opera House. Make a reservation if you plan to eat there on a day when there is a show. The cocktails are creative (particularly for a Brewery). The Fig and Pig Pizza is delicious. The service is attentive and the room is comfortable.

Purely about the service - hostesses were very rude to our small group upon arrival. Not going to come back

Incredible for a wedding rehearsal dinner!! I was shopping around at different restaurants in the area for where to hold our rehearsal - and nothing beat Mill House deal/value. What they offered was perfect, and we paid for an extra hour on top of our reserved room to hold ‘Welcome Drinks’ at the spot. It worked out perfectly! And the food is obviously amazing. We even had a pizza display added on for the guests at the Welcome Drinks and it was super fairly priced. Their bartenders, hostess, and servers that ran our event were incredible too! Thank you!

I dine out a lot of places often in many cities. Mill House Brewing was fine. There are just so many choices out there that I’m not sure I’ll be running back anytime soon. I’ve been there in the past & have sat at or in the bar area which would have earned 5 stars. The difference may have been that it was a holiday week? The food was just ok this trip. someone told us they have the best burger. This one wasn’t anything to brag about and the cook temp was off. The salad was really good though.

The server we had back in July was awkward and made really weird jokes. The booth seating was a little weird too. It’s like they tried to maximize earning and fit one too many booths in the space they had. It was a bit uncomfortable.

The drinks were the best part of our dinner dining experience there that night.
