We found ourselves nearby to Mill House Brewing after having dinner elsewhere in Poughkeepsie but wanted to try a few beer samples since we were so close. Parking was plentiful on a Friday evening which was nice for being in town. We were greeted promptly and had good service at the bar. This establishment is definitely more of a restaurant than a typical bar/brewery but we didn’t feel out of place just having a flight. The beer was pretty good, the blueberry cream ale was our favorite, they even put real blueberries in the beer when it’s served which was a cool addition. I liked their cucumber cream ale as well. We didn’t get any food or beer to go however they do offer crowlers to go that we saw being filled as well as 4pks. Mill House is worth a visit if you find yourself in Poughkeepsie
Beautiful establishment, servers were skilled and fast, food was excellent, parking is a bit limited entrance to the lot is BEHIND THE SIGN and additional parking in church lot next door.
Great spot, good beer, pizza/cauliflower, brussel sprouts were all amazingly good!
Millhouse is my go-to for a delicious meal or when guests come to visit. I’ve also attended several showers here which were excellent.
Whether it’s a cocktail on the upstairs patio with a pup, or a unique dinner inside a cozy atmosphere, you will leave full and happy! My favorite picks are the cauliflower sticky rice bowl, fig and pig pizza, or the cowboy burger. YUM. They have a unique menu with something you’ll crave for weeks afterwards that will satisfy your appetite and then some.
My only suggestion is for them to have a better take out system. I have called several times with high hopes and group orders for my family ready to go, yet was told they were too busy to do takeout that night. This did not change my love of their food and restaurant, but I would suggest eating in with a reservation rather than taking out. Note - they get busy on weekends so be sure to keep that in mind, and parking fills ups quickly!
The food and ambiance make this place a great pick for any occasion.
Food was okay and overpriced. Atmosphere was perfect.
The pizza of the day was great. Great service. We will return.
Food was okay, barely got to enjoy it because the tables around us were unclassy with a bunch of kids yelling and no parents to attend to them. Waiter didn’t even bother to apologize or compensate for it.
The food was good, but you must try the beer fights. There are lots of varieties, and there’s definitely enough to satisfy all types of drinkers.
We held a (small) wedding reception here in their private room “The Loft” and it was the best time ever. The food was amazing, the service was amazing. Danielle did an amazing job!!! She’s the best. 100% recommend for all your event and dinning needs!! (P.s get the truffled short rib gnocchi, it’s amazing!)

Love love love this place. The Bang band cauliflower is a flavor explosion but the calamari salad is my absolute favorite. You can't go wrong! I'm not a beer drinker but the sangria is pretty killer too!

This was a great pub. Cozy rustic interior filled with people enjoying themselves. TVs for sports. Super friendly staff. Really good food. I had a Pastrami Cuban (although I thought it lacked the proper mustard - it was very tasty) and shoestring fries (perfectly cooked). I finished with a pumpkin dense cake special dessert which was very rich and awesome.
Finally I had a flight of beer. The cucumber ale was interesting and very tasty (if you love cucumber). The rest of the beers were good and very approachable.
I will certainly be returning.

Great Beer, Great Food and a great atmosphere....what more could you ask for??
Mill House Brewing truly exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Rosie, whose kindness made our evening even more special. She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and was incredibly accommodating to our 2-year-old, even bringing toys to the table to keep him entertained. Rosie also took the time to acknowledge our 5th wedding anniversary and surprised us with a thoughtful Prosecco toast, making the night that much more memorable. Her attention to detail and genuine hospitality were amazing, and we’ll definitely be returning, largely thanks to her!
