We always have a great time when we go to MHBC! Our go to is to get a few appetizers and small beers from their abundant menu, and everything is usually stellar. We’ve had the pierogi, pretzel bites, gyro sliders, pickle chips, and for mains, the Nashville Hot Chicken Salad (a stunner!!!) and the chicken sandwich (also tasty, but boy does that biscuit crumble). A group of 4 waited one hour for our food on a Friday night because two of us ordered pizza. After repeated inquiries about our food, we learned that the pizza oven can only handle 5 at a time. We were told “a lot of people ordered pizza tonight and we are really backed up!” We should have been warned when we ordered! The food was very good when it finally arrived, and we were offered free dessert, but the damage was already done.
My wife, our son, and I went to the MHBC for dinner for my birthday when we were up in the Hudson Valley. We aren't big beer drinkers but thought the menu looked great. My wife got the Pear Pressure and loved it. We got the fried calamari salad to start and the fried buffalo Brussel sprouts. The salad was great and the Brussel sprouts were awesome with the blue cheese aioli. My wife got the bistro steak and loved it and I got the fish and chips with the Belgian fried....
