I've only ordered sushi from here and it is top notch. There is another sushi spot I go to in Poughkeepsie but they are closed on Monday. On Monday, if I want sushi, I order from New Ichiban.
The ambiance is great, staff are always welcoming and pleasant. The prices are reasonable, especially considering how much you pay if you go to other places nearby.

Made an online order and wait 30min to go and pick it up only to find the ticket didn’t print. Show my online order and get it ordered in the restaurant and showing that I had ordered it 30min ago. I asked how long it would be and quoted 10-15 min so I am thinking that they should be starting my order because there was a mistake and I had placed my order 30min before, only to have waited another 50min while watching people who have placed orders after get there food. Very sad and angry about how they handled this situation because I really like the food, but this was really annoying to get have my ordered get passed over and prepared last to orders that were placed after. In total waited 1hr and 30min, really not pleased.

Had takeout today and food was a bit chewy and dry. Ate here multiple times with no issue.
Fatty and poor quality fish. One of the chefs was quite good, but the other, preparing our rolls at the bar was sloppy with poor presentation. With so many options around, this would be my last choice for sushi in the area.
