I get the Mangu there. Its delicious. Comes with fried cheese, fried salami and onions. The hot bar is also very tasty. One of my favorite Spanish spots in town. The lady behind the counter is always very friendly and welcoming.

I gave this place on Raymond Ave several chances.The food is utterly gross last few times threw it out after a couple bites.Overall rice overcooked,chicken unseasoned bland.The cook evidently doesn’t care or take pride in the food.He also eats the food as if it was something to nourish.The health department needs to get this place in review expeditiously !!!

Ordered beef and cheese empanadas and got beef empanadas. This is the second time I give this spot a chance. You can taste the oil in the empanadas and how it’s been reused over and over again with fish flavors etc. Sucks that there is no solid Dominican spot in Poughkeepsie. My Son and I went there for the first time. We had white rice beans and chicken stool. The rice was burnt. The chicken was dry and unseasoned. I would never go there again.

Probably the most satisfying and surprising meal we’ve had in all of New York. Flavors were rich and the rice and beans were excellent compliments to the beef and oxtail stews.

I like the place the food taste a lot better than the other place that's on main st. I see ppl on the comments are confusing the two place so they better look at the address before leaving reviews affecting a business that isn't even accurate

Horrible food anymore. They were never as good as the original Nelly's but I think they were pretty close and this one had a pretty convenient parking situation w/ much better food at first. The last time we were in, which was more than 6 months ago. The bacalao was old, such small pieces and all salt. The rice was old, and the lady had the nerve to ask us how it was, which they never do as if she knew it was terribly old, subpar food. Would never get their spaghetti, but it looked so nasty and days old piled up in the warming tray practically crusting. The location is also not clean looking at all. Sucio. No more.
