Stop by to visit Erin and get a bite to eat.We've come by before and the place was packed and there are several reasons why !!Today we went earlier around 3 pm and it was fantastic.I had the Trackside Cheese Steak which was incredible, my wife feasted on the La Isla Bonita, which also on a brioche bun, had a delectable sweet, chili-pineapple relish.We'll definitely be going back, the atmosphere was relaxed and Erin waited on us personally.We just had to get the fresh-made Keylime Pie to go !!You'll enjoy the Hudson River views from the deck area...Parking: Plenty of it...including a lot behind the building !!

A wonderful gem right on the edge of the Hudson River. The owners are friendly, the staff is attentive, drinks are generous, and the food is amazing! The unique and beautiful art really makes a fantastic atmosphere for a get together with friends or a lively family meal. If the bar is more your speed then you'll be well at home bellying up and meeting amazing new friends. Can't wait to come back!Vegetarian options: Most options are available in a vegetarian-friendly format.

What a gem! I live in the area and never heard of this place. My girl friends and I stopped in for lunch. Our waiter was funny, attentive and made us feel comfortable and welcome. The food was YUM. I had the La Isla Bonita Fish Sandwich. It will sweet, savory and crunchy. The vibe was also just right- loved the nod to all the old local bars.

Enjoyed this place so much that I almost didn’t want to boost it with another good review! Attentive staff, fabulous food, great drink selection (including local beverages), all with appropriate prices. My husband and I sat outside and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, though inside looked lovely too. Their menu is clearly well thought out- no run of the mill pub food here. Can’t wait to try more.

Such a great vibe with the way they decorated! We didn't have reservations and the owner not quite sure said he had a table for us but it wasn't his best because it was across from the bathroom did not bother! There were 45 records all around and we kept seeing ones that brought back great memories! So between that...the food...and the service...I didn't even care we were near the bathroom! Love this place end will be back again! P.S...come hungry and if you order the fish and chips get the prosecco!

Came in on a Tuesday not long after opening. Was seated quickly and my food arrived quickly as well. Both servers were very welcoming. I got the LA Isla Bonita sandwich (the fish one) at the recommendation of the server (Mike if I remember correctly). The fish was battered very nicely, and the sweet chili-pineapple relish in the sandwich also being delicious and complimentary to the fish. The fries that came with the sandwich were crispy and fluffy on the inside. The toilets are also very clean and there are some parking spots for customers. Will definitely return next time I pass get a chance to pass through Poughkeepsie again.

After enjoying the Walkway Over the Hudson, we looked for a local restaurant to have lunch. We saw that Erin O'Neill's was only a short walk away, decided to give it a try, and we are very glad that we did. Since it was such a nice day, we sat at one of the tables outside. The waitress as well as the man we think is the owner, were both very friendly. The service was quick and the food was excellent.I had the pulled pork sandwich and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who asked. My wife couldn't decide, so she got 2 different "starters" figuring between the two, it would be a full meal. Each of the starters were a generous portion. She really enjoyed what she had of each of them.If we visit the Poughkeepsie area again, we'll definitely stop by here to eat.Parking: Parking spots right out front.

I live in Miami Beach and when I visit my parents in Poughkeepsie we always dine at the Nic L Inn. In MB we have no resturants that compare to the quality of the Nic L Inn. It is amazing. The food, service and drinks are always perfect. It is locally owned and always exceeds are expectations. The bartender Debra is amazing, as well as all the servers. Tonight we did take out. We had the chopped salad, cream of mushrooms, the chicken special, raviolis, and the chicken sausage pasta. Also, I'm a vegetarian and there are always options! The cucumber cilantro margarita is refreshing!
