After spending more than 20 years living in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, it’s great to find an authentic Chinese dumpling place in Poughkeepsie. Their dumplings and Mala Tang noodles are better than many places I’ve eaten in China and I also recommend the salads. The boss, a very friendly guy, is from the northeast of China where they know a thing or two about dumplings and noodles.

This place was recommended from a Co-Worker. So a friend and I went for lunch Place look ok at first. Well once we where Seated we notice flys inside and yellow jackets out side of the window. We ordered Are food thinking flys would go away they most have came in when back doors was open. for what every reason flys would swarm by seating patrons and food Really annoying well I ordered chicken lo mein unbeknownst to me it was so salty I thought I was going into renal failure another think if you don’t tell them no MSG by default they’ll included. So bottom line if you are on a low salt diet do to blood pressure kidney issues ect. You were warned. Otherwise, you’ll find yourself in the emergency room or worse.

Went to visit the FDR library and museum and stumbled on this gem of a place for lunch. Peaceful atmosphere, clean restroom and facilities but above all absolutely delicious dumplings and beef noodles. Loved it so much we went back to order takeout as dinner as well.

Our first time there. Very nice staff and the dumplings were amazingly delicious!!!! The fried rice with sausage and shrimp was amazing too!!! Will definitely make Palace Dumplings a regular dining experience!!! Thank you!!!

Probably one of the best dumpling places around the Hudson Valley region for really great prices. Everything on the menu is exceptional. The dumplings are juicy and always on-point. Service and great and they’re always so cheerful. Please try the cold beef salad and the cucumber salad if you ever go there!

I've come here a few times with friends and family, and the quality of their dumplings is spot on! I usually get pan-fried dumplings here, but I love their beef noodle soup, too!
Loved eating here. We ordered several things off the menu. We weren't sure if we wanted steamed or fried dumplings for our dozen so the server suggested half-and-half which was perfect. Everything was so delicious - we are now loyal customers and will be back time and again.

Terrible! First time here. We got flack for not wanting to sit in a cramp…waited to order after 20 mins of sitting there. Scallion pancake app came to the table not sliced no sauce….at this point we were peed. I asked, for a to go container…idiot boy waiter ignored. Maybe manager, ignored as well. We then, ate nothing and left. We told them that we’re leaving, then idiot boy comes outside asking if we were leaving!! 🤦♀️ Smh

REVISED REVIEW. Previous waitstaff was fine but recently had a rude young man who practically threw the bill on the table. Terrible attitude and not at all helpful. Hopefully he won’t be there if we return.
So delighted they’ve opened a second location closer to me. Attractive new place is such an upgrade. Friendly staff. Fresh, well prepared food. Light, flavorful dumplings and many other options.
