$27 for Jalea is very pricey. My family we sat inside and ordered the same exact dish and it was a lot bigger…today we got it for take out and very very small portion for the price

Very good but the prices kill... very high...About once or twice a year is fine.

We have eaten here many times and the food is always on point. The people are super friendly and the sauce is BOMB. The whole chicken and super soft and tasty. This is our go-to spot!

we love this restaurant! it is a monthly go to spot for us and we love the dishes. we tend to order the chaufas, ceviche, sandwiches, and churros. they include the 18% service fee which makes it easier on us - just read the receipt carefully. (for vegetarians, the veggie chaufa is perfect!)

The ceviche was one the best I've ever had and the portion sizes are very filling. I would highly recommend this restaurant and return when I'm visiting the area.

Beautifully plated food and tasty dishes. The food was very fresh. It was nice to have a unique twist on the meal. The service was great.I’ll be honest that I left agitated having an 18% service fee and the need to leave a tip because it was unclear. Typically restaurants charge a 3.5% credit card fee now, but this service fee seemed excessive. Some reviews say that was the tip. No one came to our table to explain it, so a $65.00 meal cost 96.00. Just an FYI.

Went on a Saturday night with a party of 5 adults. We all enjoy Peruvian food and were excited to see this place pop up on maps with such high ratings. It was surprisingly empty on a Saturday night. We were one of 3 tables seated. During our time there, there were no more than 3 tables seated. The staff were friendly and nice to us given we were celebrating a birthday. Our drinks came out staggered with the last coming out after we had already gotten our food. Most of us had gotten Lomo Saltado as it is a very popular Peruvian dish. We were disappointed to find out that not only was our food slightly cold but the flavor was lacking in a dish that we have grown to love for its great seasoning and flavor. Cocktails were also lacking in alcohol and mostly tasted like juice/mixer.They were sweet however with bringing out a dessert after hearing we were there to celebrate a birthday. So that we really appreciated. For how empty the place was it did take us a long time to get the waitress’ attention to get our check and then to even given her our payment. Overall we were left underwhelmed and disappointed given the restaurants high rating. Unfortunately we will not be returning.

First let me start off by saying that the hospitality here is ten stars. From the moment that we walked in the door until we left we were treated like family. The ambiance is laid back and traditional Peruvian, we loved it. Now to the food and the drinks. We couldn't have asked for a better meal. The flavor profiles and the perfection of how the food was cooked and prepared, honestly can't be beat! The drinks WOW! We been meaning to come here for months now since we are new to the area, and it's unfortunate that we waited so long. We definitely been missing out. This is our new spot for food and drinks now!

We went to eat here for the first time and service was very good, the food came out and I have to say it was very tasty, the only thing to us is the jalea needed seasoning but other than that food was great. My fiar and I were very surprised of the 18% service charge and then suggestions of the tip on top of that. We would probably just do take out next time.
