Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

The food at Popeyes was just as good as you'd expect, crispy & flavorful fried chicken that hits the spot. However, the experience at the drive-thru had a minor hiccup. The guy at the window hesitated to give me an extra sauce, even after I made it clear I was willing to pay for it. It was kind of funny in the moment, but it didn’t ruin the visit. Overall, solid food and exactly what you'd anticipate from Popeyes.

Unprofessional service!!
Today I ordered a 5 piece chicken tenders & the man working today took it upon himself to find anyway to charge me extra. Which if I ordered extra I have no problem paying extra duh! he charged me for a Lg frie with the combo I asked why? He said he can change it ??? Huh sir I never ordered that?! Because people always want to act like you’re crazy I just said forget it I went to the location in wappingers falls ordered the same thing & he charged me for a regular portion! Looking at the other comments this isn’t the first time nor was it a mistake.. he knew exactly what he was doing! trying to get people for $2 isn’t worth losing business!

I ordered two combos and they automatically up charged me for a large fry on both meals. That’s $4.00 extra. The worker told me I should have know they do that, he was rude!!!.

The food sucked never eating there anymore the mashed potatoes were like water the mac and cheese was nasty it did not taste fresh. Then I got charged for an up charge and I didn't even want it. They pushed their large onto you.
And they acted like they didn't even want to be there in the first place. The employees this place needs to close down because it's not like it was when it first opened. I've had other Popeyes before and Nowhere's near as bad as this

Years later, I'm still lamenting the loss of the Po' Boy to the Round Chicken Sandwich Wars. But this Ghost Pepper Chicken Sandwich is superior to the other sauced spicy chicken sandwiches of other fast food joints. It's more delicious, & far less messy!

i wish i could give 0 stars. the workers are very nasty and automatically gave me a large combo and charged for one when i asked for a regular. i approached them about the price difference very kindly and they were INCREDIBLY rude and refused to give me the difference back. 20 dollars down the drain. not one apology or even a remote sense of caring about the customer.

There’s usually always something wrong with my order. Usually it’s the sauce that is missing. I’ve come back on multiple occasions thinking it would be different this time, but I don’t think that will be the case.

When I came to the Popeyes over here in Poughkeepsie before I swore, I would never step foot in that Popeyes again until recently when I was craving fried chicken did I take a chance and stop by and to my amazement witness a complete 360 turnaround starting with employees, ,the locations appearance as well as the quality of the food I expressed my gratitude to the manager named Eric about how nice the lady was that took my order through the drive-through I recommend to anyone giving this Popeyes a second chance it is well worth it.

I didn’t catch her name, but her lashes were done, and her hair was in a bun. Sweetest lady ever. Super bubbly and kind personality. My food was out fast and everything was in the bag. Shout out to her ❤️❤️❤️
