I ate at the Poughkeepsie steakhouse tonight and a woman named Jenna was our server. She really made this place feel like a home away from home…How dining locally should feel. I was ready to buy the menu just to continue the experience and joy of this place and the vibe it gives off. The food is fresh and delicious really it was….and I am hard to please. Thank you!!

so my first time here was not so great..the bread was good..calamari was cold and soft..salads were tiny and ok..took forever to get my steak and was nothing better than Texas roadhouse. Lobster tail was warm water and was over cooked and tasteless..server was mediocre overall 6.6 out of 10

My wife and I consider this our date night place to eat. We always ask for Kaleigh for our waitress but if she is off Jenna is just as good. Food is fantastic, love all the steaks. Tonight was the veal chop special was the Demi glaze is to die for. We have never had a bad meal nor bad service. It’s like family when we go.

I know it's a steakhouse, but try the chicken cordon bleu your second visit- you won't be disappointed! And don't forget to start with Candied Bacon- yum!

It can definitely get busy, but that's for a reason. The burgers are by far one of the best in the area, the Bang Bang Shrimp NEVER disappoints, the Original Hob wings always hit the spot when a craving for wings arises, and the Caesar Salad is massive and so soooo good! Johnny, Sara, and Rick all provide fantastic service! They are friendly, diligent, and seem to enjoy their interactions with each and every customer they serve.
We don't keep going back to establishments with subpar food and/or service, and we go to Poughkeepsie Steakhouse weekly.....with no signs of that stopping any time soon.

Poughkeepsie Steakhouse is one of our favorite places! Not only is the food amazing, but the service is what keeps us coming back. We enjoy seeing the waitstaff, especially one waitress there, Jenna. She is always smiling and makes us feel so welcome to the restaurant! We love seeing her! Highly recommend Poughkeepsie Steakhouse and hopefully you’re lucky enough to have Jenna serving your table!
