Poughkeepsie steakhouse is the place you want to go to have an amazing steak! They have a beautiful selection of steaks and if you order a steak they come out and let you pick what steak knife you want from their collection. They have very large steaks from tomahawks to T-Bones , filet mignon etc. we sat in the dining room next to the fireplace and it was so nice. The atmosphere is very comfortable. Very cozy place. Nice fire place, smells like burning wood. We came around 7:30 with a reservation and sat right in. Food came out on a timely manner. Got the sample platter and our meals plus drinks. Big portions. We got so stuffed, took a lot home. It was yummy and our waitress was pleasant and kind

Kayleigh was awesome !! We came for Christmas Eve dinner, and the owner gifted everyone with a free dessert and coffee buffet. The food and service were absolutely amazing. Portions were generous!! First time here and will definitely be back!
